Linda Gutri on Niagara RoofMasters

When the Niagara Roof Masters salesman was gone and for the rest of the day, I was cursing myself for being an easy sell. I was told by a house inspector my roof renewal would cost $6,000 at today's prices. The final bill with Niagara Roof Masters was to be more than double what I was expecting. I had found roofers who would do my job for $4,600. But the Niagara Roof Masters salesman took my adult son on the roof and my son saw rotten wood under the shingles plus what looked like 2x4s holding the shingles. It's no wonder shingles had been blown away by wind and there were patches of fixes all over the place. Niagara tore all that out and put on plywood and a breathable underlayment to prevent rot from moisture. Plus they put on peel & stick underlayment for asphalt shingles all around the edges about a metre wide. The warranty for my roof is 25 years now. After all is said & done, I'm pleased beyond words. Had only the shingles been done I would have lost patches to the wind. I did read all of the one-star reviews for Niagara Roof Masters and the only thing that stood out was a complaint they didn't clean up properly afterwards. However, my crew did clean up -- thoroughly -- so I have no complaints. These guys worked hard, behaved professionally and as a result I had confidence in what they were doing. Kudos to The Home Depot who put me in touch with these guys. The Depot has a nifty service whereby you tell them your house issues and they find and contact 3 pros for solutions who are then in charge of calling you -- you don't call them. The advantage with this system is a business is vetted by The Home Depot and they encourage you to ask the business questions to vet them yourself. With the strong winds we have been getting I'm so glad my roof is done and done properly. Shout-out to Dan Bree, the Senior Home Advisor who probably saved me from getting a lot of patchwork in future years had I not learned a bit about roofing.

Rob was terrific! He returned my call very quickly and arrived exactly when he said he would. His assessment was through and complete and pricing was very fair. He did an excellent job and explained various options in full to me. I will definitely be recommending his services to others and will be using this again in the near future. Thank you for everything!!

I thought I needed leaf guards so after checking a few company reviews I chose Niagara RoofMasters.
Turns out my house already had leaf guards so I would like to thank Russel, the technician who came to do the job for being honest and letting me know they were there and in good condition so didn’t need replacing.
Also thanks to Hayley for understanding and arranging for a deposit refund and also my original contact with the company,Brandy. All pleasant people and easy to talk to. ??
