Recent reviewers frequently mention thorough, informative inspections and clear explanations of roof issues. Some negative feedback notes mismatched materials on repairs and the need for return visits, as well as cleanup concerns after work. Overall ratings trend positive, with responsiveness and professionalism during inspections standing out, while finish details and post-job tidiness are recurring areas to watch.

Technician was very knowledgeable and gave a complete explanation, while physically showing all the problems. Great!

I am not happy. The repair person had to come out a second time to fix his subpar work. After the recent rain storm, I noticed that the same area has a noticable piece of metal sticking up. I understand that they would try to match the tile on the roof; however, the piece that was supposed to be a close match is not even close, it is pinkish while the existing tile is grayish. The last thing is the clean up. Discarded Tiles was left were ever it fell in the back yard, and while cleaning out the front gutter next the enter door, we found a pieces of tile. The sad thing about roof repair is that you how to trust their word, or get another company to inspect the work. The pictures that they provide in the beginning or clear on what needs to be done however the picture that are provided after the work is done I notice for my job I didn't get all of the repair pictures. When I requested them, I was told that the repair person doesn't take after pictures. Maybe a video cam would be good to give the customer a peace of mind that the work was done.

Inspector Jay was very thorough and meticulous with inspection at our residence. He was able to answer several questions we had and was very knowledgeable about his craft.

Very professional. Detail oriented, informative and went above and beyond with my roof inspection. Thank you Jason Moore!

Initially I was happy with Roof Doctors. Their inspector was friendly and professional, and while expensive, they were not completely unreasonable.

The trouble came when the actual repairman showed up and spent all of 50 minutes to rush through our job. He used mismatched drip-edge and it looked terrible. I called back and they scheduled him to come back and bring matching drip-edge. Fine,.. so far so good… but when he came back the second time, he tore and displaced the underlayment beneath the tile.

They refused to send someone out a third time to fix their damage to my house. They don’t deny tearing my underlayment. It’s clear that they tore it. They just refuse to repair it because ‘my solar panels make the area hard to access’ and it’s ‘my responsibility’ to remove the solar panels before the work and reinstall the solar panels after the work.

That’s like acknowledging that they crashed into my car and agreeing to pay for the parts, but demanding that I take care of the labor because my car is difficult to work on.

Very frustrating conversations and very slow communications as soon as I paid them for the work. I should not have paid them. I think I’m worse off now than when I first called them, and I’m $1400 in the hole.

Update: It’s disappointing to see your company respond in such a prompt and professional manner to this review in a public forum and then promptly reaffirm that your not willing to stand behind your work in a private email. It’s dishonest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Typical findings include failed flashing, cracked or slipped tiles, worn shingles, and sealant or valley issues that lead to leaks. Inspectors document conditions and provide photos so you can see location, severity, and repair options.

It depends on roof age, extent of damage, and overall condition. If the roof has localized issues and good remaining life, targeted repairs are often recommended; widespread wear may make replacement more cost-effective.

Response times vary by schedule and weather, but leak calls are prioritized. An initial visit focuses on locating the source and stabilizing the area, followed by permanent repairs once materials and conditions allow.

Exact matches are not always available, especially on older tiles or discontinued shingles. The team aims for the closest practical match and will discuss appearance trade-offs before work begins.

You should receive a summary of work performed and any maintenance considerations. A basic cleanup of the work area is included; let the team know promptly if anything needs attention.
