Doxxing someone (you know, publishing my name) violates Google's privacy and harassment policy, and will be used against Bay Roofing in the coming proceedings. The pictures are of the way you left our roof, and they speak for themself., end of story. My complaint was never about shingles either, it was about everything else your company did. And, despite whatever you say or think - flashing, chimney crickets, end-dams, and exposed fasteners are covered under the Ontario Building Code no matter what shingle brand is used. My mother wants nothing to do with you either, which is why I have been authorized to escalate this. I had over 5 thousand views in an online forum that showed pictures of your 'expert' work, and no one, not one, defended or thought what your company did was acceptable. Would have been a lot easier if you just fixed your mistakes.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The finished “work” leaves flashing folded the wrong way, chimney metal that isn’t embedded, exposed nail heads dabbed with caulk, and an upsell on wall flashing that actually channels water toward the house. Five visits later nothing substantial was corrected; instead, three colours of sealant now hide the gaps and the caulk is already cracking after one winter.I have more than twenty-five emails documenting every defect. After I sent a final, code-cited demand with photographs and other roofers opinions, Bay replied that the matter was “resolved” and they would not return. Hours later the owner left a voicemail telling my elderly mother he might sue me for defamation and had “contacted the police” because I was allegedly harassing them—though all I ever did was insist the roof meet the Ontario Building Code.So here we are: no repairs, no warranty service, just threats and gas-lighting. The roof still has a finger-wide gap behind the chimney and flashing that points water into the wall. If you expect workmanship, accountability, or even basic professionalism, look elsewhere.
Bay Roofing did an excellent job replacing our roof! Everyone we dealt with from the office to the on-site workers were friendly and professional.
