Unfortunately we had to get the attorney general involved when they came out to our house. They damaged our roof, pool and surrounding property during an ice dam removal. They blocked my wife and I cell phones when we repeatedly asked for management information from sales reps and were denied. Nobody ever reached out to fix the issue. Never sent my wife a contract, just asked for payment information.Beware of these guys! The pictures they upload on their website, compared to our ring and cell phone footage immediately after they left our property show how deceptive they can be. To block us and think they would face no accountability was shocking, but here we are.. enjoy!
They requested a review after I paid so here it is.Terrible experience. I paid an equivalent of $500 dollars an hour for someone to swing a sledge hammer against my roof. I needed ice dam removal done. Was told $545 on the phone prior to work. They adjusted the price up 25% at the time of the appointment when the worker had already arrived and I'd scheduled my time for this work to be done. I felt strong armed into accepting when I'd already lost time with having made an agreement with them first. Was told multiple times they use specialized equipment to prevent damage to the roof. They don't. It's a sledge hammer. I will state it was incredibly cold that day so I know their worker did work hard but there was a lot of ice left behind. The gutters were still over filled with it. These pictures are both mine and their own of the work. I do not appreciate the way this company does business. I even requested that they make an adjustment for what I received to what I paid and they refused. I'd have accepted this price more if I knew the worker himself made most of the money from the bloated cost but that's obviously not how a business is run.
I wasn’t planning on leaving a review but keep getting text prompts so off we go! I called on the weekend and spoke to somebody about ice dam removal and texted a picture of the far left and asked if everything shown would be removed. She was incredibly nice and assured me it would be removed and even said she would try to get someone out over the weekend, which was unexpected but appreciated. That ended up not being an option so we had a worker come out Monday. I thought we were going to steam everything off, but he ended up using tools and was out there for a couple of hours. The roof is only a year old so I can only hope we didn’t sustain damage. I didn’t notice any loose shingles from what I can tell. He was very friendly and respectful and it was a day where it was like 0 degrees so I’m sure it wasn’t fun. The worst of the dams were removed, but I still saw a lot of snow and ice and I asked if he could remove more with his rake ( since I was worried all of that would fall forward and create another dam) and he said he would but then left. The third picture shows the next day when it started to dam again. I did call the company and sent photos and tried to explain my concern and asked why the rest of the ice wasn’t removed and I have not heard back. They quoted us at $950 and then with a military discount it was $934. I saw another review where she said she was told they only go 3 feet back or it counts as extra removal. So maybe that’s the issue with the main roof not being cleaned off but dormers definitely did not subscribe to that rule. And again when I first booked this, I asked if everything shown in this picture would be removed and she said yes. Furthermore, she said we would get a roof inspection on the dormer that was leaking with a patch or recommendations or referral to another company and that did not happen. So unfortunately, we paid our bill of $934 and still have ice on the roof but the worst of it was removed without damage (as far as I can see with all the snow and ice still here). If I could go back in time I would not book them and I would’ve went with another company since we have to do that now anyways.
Let me start with everyone that I spoke to and the 2 young men who came out to shovel my roof were very nice and professional. That be ing said, The area that I requested was not completed, They tried to use my snow blower and broke the pull cord and I found the tail broken off my dog Christmas decoration stuffed inside the mailbox. I called to get the situation rectified to find out they don’t shovel more than 4 to 6’ from the edge of the roof just enough to take care of ice dams… information they neglected to tell me. I was never sent a contract to my email, which they said they sent. And still have not received a copy. They said they will take care of fixing the snowblower. I have someone fixing it on Monday. I requested a call from the owner and have not received that call as of yet. I paid $470 and did not get a job well done.
After seeing this company at a neighbor's house, I contacted company, after getting info from your Isiah at neighbor's house, to remove moss on garage roof. After looking at your pamplet , I showed Isiah north side of house that needed power washing and he got me a price.Isiah explained how the moss would be removed from the roof and answered any questions that I had. As regards side of my house, he detailed process for loosening up the lichen, etc on house as it involved several steps. After each step, he showed me the progress. I was amazed how what they sprayed on the siding actually melted the lichen. Again, Isiah answered my questions. When he finished all the work, he did a very good cleanup in all areas. He even suggested that I might need to trim some branches that were close to side of house. I did take care of that a few days later.Isiah has very good customer service skills. He's patient, not pushy, and very respectful of his customer's property. I found Isiah very skilled at his work. If I ever had other work done by this company, I'd want Isiah back.
