This review is long overdue, but a few months ago we were dealing with a persistent roof leak that had plagued us for years. We’d called numerous roofing companies for quotes and inspections—everyone seemed to have a different diagnosis. Then we met Monty from Blue Mountain Roofing.After his inspection, Monty admitted he couldn’t pinpoint the issue right away, but he described every detail the other companies had noticed—without us mentioning them. That transparent honesty and thoroughness gave us real confidence in his expertise because it didn't feel like he was trying to sell us on something he wasn't confident was the solution. He explained that patching wouldn’t be a lasting fix and recommended a full tear-off and replacement (which some other companies also had recommended). His pricing was better than the competition, and he suggested the perfect materials for our situation.Throughout the process, Monty answered all our questions—day or night—and the crew finished the new roof in just two days. They even coordinated the crane removal for our rooftop AC with no hassle. Since then, no leaks! How did they handle this?Blue Mountain roofing owned up to the issue, was honest about what had happened and we worked together to resolve it. We're all human, and we all make mistakes. When mistakes are not systemic - and this clearly was not - how a company handles this is what separates a mediocre company from a great company.The job went on to completion and I would rate the work as excellent. Blue Mountain Roofing and carpentry crews were first class.I reached out to Blue Mountain to assist me for a complete roof replacement in 2024. I was not sure if this would be a possible insurance claim to get my replaced since it was approximately 19 years old and had damage from a recent storm that consisted of damaging microburst. Blue Mountain provided a detailed estimate for to provide in my insurance claim which I submitted. Blue Mountain contacted me within a couple weeks that they had scheduled a view of the property roof with my insurance adjuster. Blue Mountain, the adjuster and myself all met at the property site and went over everything together. The insurance adjustor approved the Blue Mountain estimate and work to be done on the spot. Blue Mountain Roofers got the job done quickly and expertly, they helped me with the selection of high-quality material roofing tile types, with 30 year warranty craftsmanship. Blue Mountain Roofing paid meticulous attention to my roof details to give the look and appearance I desired.
