Was told needed a new roof to fix leak. Leak not fixed after at least 3 followup visits. Cost me nearly 5 thousand to fix leak from another business and interior repairs. Do not use Trademark! Smoke and mirrors. See you in court.....

Lacking communication led to frustration, misunderstandings, avoidable mistakes, and additional charges. As far as the roof is concerned, we are satisfied with the final outcome, so we could see hiring TR again if we knew that we had the time to supervise the project. These are the problems we encountered:
- We were not informed during the project that dry-rot repairs exceeded the amount in the contract. This means that extra charges for dry-rot replacement in the invoice were not approved and, therefore, not legal according to the contract.
- If the crew had informed us of the additional dry-rot repairs and gotten approval as per the contract, we might have also discussed the warped plywood replacement prior to the crew installing new shingles on said plywood, effectively avoiding the entire miscommunication and additional repair charges.
- TR blamed us for their mistake. If we were responsible for catching their crew's errors before they made them, we would also be on TR's payroll.
- While negotiating whether TR would correct their mistake of installing new tile on damaged plywood, we were told that a straight roofline is not guaranteed in their roof replacement projects. If so, then TR's company tagline "quality without compromise" is false advertising.

TLDR: honest dealing and they stand by their work. Highly recommend.

Trademark Roofing did a great job for us. We had some issues with drainage on a flat-top in-law unit, and they came out and did the work promptly, despite the fact that we're pretty far out on the coast.
Drainage was improved after the initial work, but there were still a couple of issues, so they came back out to see what was up, and buttoned everything up for no additional cost.
All through the job they were polite and professional, and clearly explained the issues we were having, what our options were, and what the pros and cons of each.

Frequently Asked Questions

Projects commonly involve asphalt composition shingles and low-slope applications such as flat sections with drainage considerations. Availability of specific brands or systems can vary by project. Ask for material options during the estimate so specifications and warranties are clear. The team can discuss pros, cons, and maintenance needs for each option.

Scheduling depends on current workload and weather. Calls during listed office hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) typically help secure the next available site visit. Share photos and address details to streamline timing. The office will provide the earliest open appointment window.

Request that dry-rot and deck repair allowances, flashing replacement, ventilation, and disposal are itemized. Ask for unit prices and thresholds that require approval before additional work proceeds. Clear photos and a written summary before and after tear-off help align expectations. Keeping communication frequent during tear-off days minimizes surprises.

Yes, customer feedback notes experience improving drainage on low-slope areas. The crew can evaluate scuppers, crickets, and flashing transitions to move water properly. Expect recommendations tailored to the structure’s pitch and runoff patterns. A follow-up check may be suggested after the first significant rain.

The process usually starts with inspection and tracing water paths to source points like flashing, penetrations, or failed membranes. Technicians outline repair options and note any conditions that could require return visits after rainfall. Photos are commonly used to document findings. If underlying wood damage exists, additional work may be recommended.
