We live in Doon valley area of Kitchener, and after a few shingles blew off during one of those classic windy spring storms, we knew it was time to deal with our aging roof. A neighbour recommended this local roofing company, and I’m really glad we gave them a call.From the first conversation, they felt genuine and down-to-earth — no sales pitch, just honest advice about what we actually needed. They walked us through the options, explained the costs clearly, and were patient with all my questions. As a homeowner, that meant a lot.The crew showed up early, worked hard all day, and were incredibly respectful of our property. They even took extra time to make sure no nails were left behind in the driveway (which I appreciated with kids running around). By the end of the day, the new roof looked amazing, and the yard was cleaner than when they arrived.It’s such a relief knowing our home is protected, especially with Kitchener winters the way they are (thaw/freeze). We first contacted Rydel after seeing lawn signs in our neighbourhood, including on a friend's house. Our friends were happy with Rydel and recommended them. Our rep from Rydel visited the house for measurements, brought samples on a few occasions, explained the qualities of different shingle types and brands and explained the warranty. The quote was very fair; comparable to two other companies and much, much less than the quote from two other companies (despite being generally similar materials). We signed the contract in the fall and they did the job in the spring. It took one full day for the team of 4 guys to get it done, including thorough cleanup of debris and nails. We are super happy with the neat and tidy look of the shingles. We had no regret in choosing Rydel!

We had Rydel Roofing quote us for our roof. They visited us and went over everything we could expect. We decided to use them. A date was set - with not much wait. The morning of, the team showed up nice and early. We had received a phone call Pryor so we knew when to expect them and what our part was to be done. The team got to work right away. It was a long day for the team but they worked hard right to the end. Our home had a lot of refuse around it and the team cleaned everything up. They did not leave a single bit of mess. We had email after it was done, showing us the roof and the new vents that had been added. We felt extremely satisfied with the work that was done. The roof looks great and we are thrilled with it.
