Waterloo Metal Roofing did a fantastic job on our new steel roof. We are extremely happy! David and his crew were great to work with. Very skilled installers and a Canadian steel product that will give us superior performance and looks for decades to come!

After much research we decided to have a metal roof installed. We received quotes for both asphalt shingles and different types of metal roofing. After meeting with representatives from different companies, David Blake from Waterloo Metal Roofing made our decision easy. We were really impressed with both David and his product. It’s manufactured in Ontario made to withstand our Canadian weather. Everything was done when promised by an excellent crew. They were very professional, answering any concerns or questions as the work was being done. The crew was meticulous in their work and had things cleaned up at the end of each day. David Blake dropped in to see how things were going during the installation and did a final inspection with us after the crew had left. The whole process was so smooth. We can’t say enough good things about David and his installers. We are thrilled with the look of our new roof and would highly recommend Waterloo Metal Roofing.

We did research for months on what roofing system we wanted to purchase for our 100+ year old stone house. After meeting with 5 companies on our short list we chose Waterloo Metal Roofing. We were impressed by David and his incredible knowledge (he is an engineer) and his product. A metal roof is a BIG investment. As we watched the excellent crew work for days we got a really good understanding of why. Not a nail to be found - they screwed those panels in for hours (over the barrier). The team custom cut piece after piece around all the edges and peaks (remember OLD house - nothing is perfectly level or square anymore). Instead of a regular shingle roof that can go up in a day - it tool 3 LONG days for them to complete. Anytime we asked a question (and we asked quite a few) the crew was happy to explain to us what they were doing and why. It looks wonderful. We are so happy with the Espresso colour. It fits well in the neighbourhood and you can't tell from a distance that it is metal (like some of the barn-type or curvy metal roofs do). We still have the faded eaves , fascia and soffit as they are still holding up and the team worked around them no problem. Overall the cost was comparable (or less) than some other metal quotes and we felt that David listened and gave us great advice on options - we even did the out-building to match. We highly recommend this company, this roofing system, David and his crew.

The Waterloo Metal Roofing experience was awesome. We got four different quotes, and it was apparent that not all metal roofing is the same. David was outstanding at articulating the differences in products in the market and the benefits associated with each. The installation team was awesome - they went above and beyond. Seeing my wife carrying in groceries they offered to help. While waiting for the rest of their team one morning and seeing me shoveling the driveway, they grabbed shovels and helped. Everything they did was the right way... they spent time thinking about how things would look and didn't cut corners. Don't expect their quote to be the least expensive (personally, I always worry about the least expensive quote), but based on my experience I couldn't imagine a better customer experience. We've had neighbours comment that this is the nicest metal roof they've ever seen. We'd highly recommend!
