Charleswood Roofing & Exteriors

We recently had our roof shingles replaced by Charleswood Roofing, and we truly could not be more impressed with the entire experience. From the very first phone call to the final clean-up, their team was professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to walk us through the entire process, answered all of our questions patiently, and made sure we felt confident in every decision. There were no surprises, just honesty, transparency, and excellent communication throughout. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and showed so much respect for our property. Roofing can be messy, but they were meticulous with their clean-up. Not a single nail or scrap was left behind. It honestly looked better than when they arrived. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. You can immediately tell they take pride in what they do. Our new roof not only looks fantastic, but we also feel confident knowing it was done right and built to last ,especially with Winnipeg weather! What stood out the most was their integrity and professionalism. It’s rare these days to find a company that truly delivers on every promise, but Charleswood Roofing absolutely does. If you are looking for a roofing company that is reliable, skilled, and genuinely cares about their customers, we highly recommend Charleswood Roofing. We are beyond grateful for their hard work and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

The entire experience was great. From prompt replies for the quote, detailed breakdown of costs and options, ease of payment and communication about the job. Really appreciated the attention to detail and how well the crew cleaned up every night. Our new roof looks great and I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work done professionally.

Our home was in the narrow path of one of the recent hail storms. After the neighbours started making claims, I contacted our insurance provider. Their agent arrived, stated that we needed the shingles and eaves trough replaced and then emailed me a quote. I emailed them back, thanked them for their quote and asked a couple of questions. No reply, I emailed again, no reply. I called them and left a voice mail, no reply. I then called the company (name I recognized) that was doing the roof across the street. They arrived, did a quick inspection and asked for a copy of the first quote. They matched the price with no details, just a terse mention of shingle installation, gutter installation and price. I emailed them asked the same questions and again there was no reply. My brother in law had excellent results with Charleswood Roofing, so I called them. Andrew came out to do the quote. He did the inspection and then came into the house to discuss the details. One of the first things he asked was what colour and style of shingles would we like? He then went out to his truck and actually pulled out three samples of different colours and his ladder. He climbed up to our roof, lay the three samples out side by side and asked us what we thought. This was done quickly and without prompting. I asked the same question of the other two companies and got crickets. Then we discussed the merits of Class III vs Class IV as well as the cost difference. Another question I had asked the other companies. There were other details to be worked out, but suffice it to say that Charleswood Roofing got the job. The shingles are a much better colour, the class IV upgraded should be more hail resistant, the eavestrough colour matches the wood trim on our windows, the downspouts are pointed in the correct directions, etc. The two crews (shingles and gutters) were quick and professional in all aspects including clean up. They fulfilled the requirements of the insurance claim and improved the quality of our roof and eaves troughs . All in all, I can not think of any aspect that they could have gone better and I recommend them without hesitation.

Excellent! Professional, prompt, personable and precise! Highly recommended! We needed a new roof, long overdue in fact. Andrew from Charleswood Roofing responded quickly, attended promptly onsite with an estimate and quote. Aaron showed up to install the new shingles, which had already been delivered onto the roof earlier. I am truly impressed with the careful attention to detail, efficiency and organization that the installer employed. The finished job looks amazing. You couldn't tell anyone was ever up there, as demonstrated by such a thorough cleanup. This project was done with surgical precision - you can tell the installer has tons of experience and knowledge. You can tell, this is a family owned company that values every project as the most important one at the time. I am so pleased that I chose them. I've included some before and after photos.

I had the pleasure of hiring Charleswood Roofing to address a pressing roofing issue that arose in May. During a rainstorm, I noticed water cascading down the wall of my sunroom due to a hole in the roof. To my surprise, a raccoon had managed to find its way into the roof, causing the damage. After contacting several roofing companies, Charleswood Roofing stood out by promptly responding to my call, providing a detailed quotation, and offering invaluable advice. What truly impressed me was their commitment to resolving my situation promptly. Recognizing the urgency of my roof's condition, Charleswood Roofing managed to expedite the entire project. The following week, a proficient team of six professionals arrived with the necessary materials in tow. They wasted no time in tackling the hole in my roof while simultaneously installing new shingles throughout the rest of the house. The efficiency and professionalism displayed by the Charleswood Roofing team were truly commendable. Their clear communication throughout the project ensured I was kept in the loop at every step. The project was completed within the agreed-upon budget, without any unexpected surprises along the way. Though the raccoon responsible for the damage didn't pitch in to cover the bill, Charleswood Roofing's exceptional service and skillful team more than made up for it. If you're in need of roofing services, I wholeheartedly recommend Charleswood Roofing for their expertise, reliability, and outstanding customer care. My experience with them was nothing short of impressive, and I am grateful for their dedication to resolving my roofing woes promptly and professionally.
