Our new roof looks amazing, and the black gutters really complete the look of the house. The quality of the work and attention to detail really stand out.

The roof looks great and I am well pleased with the craftsmanship. Have received many compliments from the neighbors.

The reason for my initial 2 star rating stemmed from issues with timely return of customer queries and rescheduling of the project. That said, I was contacted by Skywalker and they appear genuinely place a premium on customer satisfaction and are actively working to optimize their process. They welcomed my feedback and did not make excuses. It is their desire to meet and exceed customer expectations and perform a root cause analysis to prevent future issues that is the reason, I amended my review and would recommend them without reservation.

Skywalker Roofing is one of the most professional companies we’ve ever worked with. From the initial storm-damage inspection to the final walkthrough after our roof and gutter installation, the entire process exceeded our expectations.

Our salesman, Glynn, responded quickly to our request for a free inspection. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to his clients. He even spent part of his weekend preparing our quote and contacting a previous customer to help us make an informed decision about gutter guards. The estimate was sent as a detailed, interactive PDF with infographics and videos, and Glynn personally reviewed everything with us to ensure we understood our options.

After we accepted the quote, our project manager, Cody, contacted us promptly and scheduled the job in record time. He explained the process clearly, answered all of our questions, and kept us informed with texts about material delivery and installation dates. We were also given access to a live company camera feed so we could view real-time progress and archived inspection photos — a feature we greatly appreciated.

The roofing crew arrived on time and immediately began protecting our property with tarps around the house. Sixteen crew members removed the old roof in just two hours, including cleanup. Their efficiency was impressive. While I would suggest placing additional tarps during installation to better protect items like our generator and AC unit (which did receive minor debris), the crew did an excellent job cleaning up at the end of the day. They used magnetic rollers to collect nails, and although finding a few afterward is realistic, we only discovered about a dozen over several days of intentional searching — and none in the driveway.

Before leaving, Cody completed a final walkthrough with me and addressed every small concern before the ladders came down. He was the last to leave and ensured leftover materials would be picked up promptly.

One moment stood out: after we distributed tips to the crew, one gentleman returned an envelope because he believed he had been given too much. That act of honesty spoke volumes about the character of the team.

The next day, the gutter crew installed our larger gutters and guards. Though smaller in number, they were hardworking and attentive. The crew leader consulted me about relocating a downspout for better drainage and took extra care to improve flashing in an area that had previously caused leaks. While I did notice slightly more debris after their work and briefly observed cellphone use during installation, all final concerns were addressed during the walkthrough.

Because our project extended beyond one day, I requested one final inspection. Glynn returned promptly to remove visible debris left on the roof from the gutter installation and helped perform another sweep for nails and screws.

At every level, this company demonstrates professionalism and appreciation for its customers. When Braden from the warehouse picked up leftover materials, he thanked us for allowing Skywalker to work on our home. We also received a letter of completion from the owner and a thank-you from the accounts team — a thoughtful touch that reflects the company’s culture.

We were so impressed with the quality of work and care shown throughout this project that we’ve already requested a quote for new windows. Thank you, Skywalker Roofing, for an outstanding experience.

Skywalker Roofing (Stokesdale NC office) installed new windows, new downspouts, sections of gutter, and repaired or replaced vinyl siding at my home in southeast Guilford County. They also resealed all the connections in the roof of my horse barn, and installed a new weatherproof door for the barn's feedroom. The quality of all work is exceptional.
The entire experience with Skywalker was excellent. When I called, their office associate immediately scheduled the initial visit by my sales representative Cody, who was highly knowledgeable and extremely patient in answering my questions. There was no sales presure at all: to the contrary, after checking the seals on all of my existing windows, he advised me which ones not to replace. The next business day, I received his detailed, itemized quote, with specific product information on each window, door, etc. (brand, specifications, mftr. warranty, color photos).
The skywalker project leader Ben reached out to let me know exactly when he and his crew would be at my home; the work was done exactly when they said. Everyone did beautiful work, efficiently. Everyone was professional and worked in some pretty rough weather. Ben made a final 'inspection' trip to see that all work was done to my satisfaction, before I paid the final balance for Skywalker's work. I am so grateful for their helpful service.

Skywalker communication and scheduling was also five-star, with emails to keep me informed of when all materials had been ordered and when received, and when work would begin. Payments and receipts through their secure portal were simple.

Amazing group! Rusty was such a great guy to work with, he checked the roof out and looked in the attic which helped give him a sense of what we were going to need! The quote was spot on and I was so thankful they didn’t find damaged wood that needed replacing as I know that can be an added cost. They drilled soffit vents and added soffit and overall the roof is perfect! Just in time for the snow! I appreciate this team so much. They finished the roof in one day and worked so hard and by the next day the finished the soffit, which required a lot of work including removing all the gutters. Thank you guys so much!!! You made buying a roof quite a pleasure.
