G&O Construction & Roofing

I had a large rear dormer placed in my attic facing my backyard on a 97 year old colonial with its original slate roof, and it came out very nice. It was a shell construction project, eventually done in the way I anticipated. I liked working with them, and they replaced all my recycled slates on the outer layer of the roof nicely. I recommend them for the beginning of any potential additions to your home. I wish to hire them again.

We hired G&O to replace a steep, complex, and very high roof on our old 3-story Victorian home. Unlike 2 other roofers we received estimates from, they informed us that we could make an insurance claim for shingle "blow-off," which we didn't realize was covered. They also provided a private adjuster who successfully negotiated with the insurance company to pay the cost of a better quality roof than they had originally agreed to. It then took a while to get town permits and begin the job, but we were extremely impressed by the workmen and their quality of work. They were true craftsmen and a pleasure to have working for us. They cleaned up every day, did not use scaffolding, lifts, or dumpsters, and left no debris on site. The finished roof looks fabulous. We have had numerous experiences with roofers in the past, but G&O was in a class of its own, far above all others. They are expensive, but well worth the price - especially with the help of insurance coverage.

G&O did an absolutely great job replacing the roof on my home. They wee willing to work with me to go the extra mail to ensure the job was done right. I had quotes from other contractors and it was clear G&O knew what REALLY needed to be done AND HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE. The crew was excellent, the foreman kept me posted every day and answered all my questions whenever I asked. The clean-up was really good and my wife and I are convinced this job could not have been done better. Thank you G&O!

We needed a new roof on our home due it being extremely old. G&O did an amazing job with doing this project for us. Every day they were there early am until late at night working to make sure the roof was completely in a timely manner. All of the workers were nice, polite and extremely informative with any questions we had. By the time they were done, you couldn't even tell they were there with how well they cleaned up all around our house. Nick (owner) came to check in everyday to make sure everything was going the way it was supposed to and maintained constant communication with us the entire job. Compared to other companies we checked with, G&O was definitely the best priced. We will definitely be using them in the future for additional home construction projects!

G and O Construction performs excellent work. We had our roof replaced last week. It looks awesome. They are hands down the best contractors that I have ever dealt with. They are prompt, courteous, and excellent at their profession. The crew was happy to answer any of my questions and meticulously cleaned the site when they left for the day. I highly recommend them!
