We joined Shared Value Energy in July 2025, and the pre-billing program immediately helped us earn credits from the start of using our solar panels. It was a quick learning curve, but we were able to understand how to make the most of our solar system and truly benefit from having it. We can already see the positive impact. Your website is very informative and definitely helpful for new customers like us. Thank you!

Since switching to Park Power my faith in utilities has been revived. It's hard to believe the responsiveness this company has for their clients. The billing is easy to understand, there's lots of support and options, and i can even choose my rate after I've used the power! I'm a HUGE fan!

We had enough data last year that let us figure out that we should switch to LOW rate mid-November and back to HIGH mid-February. There's a good chance that our installation will pay for itself in 7 or 8 years.

Frequently Asked Questions

Public information and customer feedback indicate Solar Club focuses on support and rate guidance rather than system installation. If you already have solar, they provide resources to help you understand billing, credits, and seasonal rate choices. For installation, you would work with a separate solar contractor. Their information can complement your installer’s advice.

Many Alberta solar households generate surplus in sunnier months and use more grid power in winter. Seasonal switching lets you align rates with these patterns, potentially improving credit value in high-generation periods and managing costs in low-generation periods. Solar Club provides educational resources on how and when to consider a switch.

Reviews indicate the team provides clear explanations on how credits appear on bills and what affects their value. They can walk through common billing terms and help you interpret usage and generation data. This can make it easier to decide on timing for any rate changes.

Customers frequently mention that calls are answered promptly and questions are addressed thoroughly. Phone support is available during posted business hours. If lines are busy, online resources and contact forms provide additional ways to reach the team.

No. Homeowners with an existing grid-tied system can use the guidance to better align their rate choices with their production and usage. If you are planning a future install, the educational materials can help you prepare for how billing and credits will work once your system is active.
