I had a solar installation performed by a local provider in 2022. However this past year that provider went out of business another casualty of inane policy at the national level. Then I had a failure of my SMA Sunny boy inverter. I contacted a number of providers and only MTV solar would make a maintenance call. The inverter was still under warranty and they replaced it free of charge. They also configured its internet portal ( which the original installer insisted it didn’t have) . They were very professional and extremely service oriented. I would recommend them for any solar installation needs in my area near markleysburg, PA in WV.

MTV Solar did a fantastic job with our solar installation. We had learned about the net metering changes going into effect in 2025 so we were in a rush to get it done by the end of 2024. We contacted MTV right before Christmas 2024 to start the process. Stuart apologized for the time crunch although it was not his fault at all. He made sure our paperwork was submitted in before the deadline- a huge relief for us. Kiki & Stuart were great with communicating what was going on at each step and doing the behind-the-scenes paperwork, making the process seamless on our end. Installation was quick once the weather was good. Everything was completed in a professional manner. Cleanup was great too. Then on our first bill, the electric company missed that we were grandfathered into the “old” net metering ratio. When we asked Stuart about it, he immediately reached out to the electric company and got everything back on track. Now we just sit back and pray for sunny weather to take care of our electric bills. MTV Solar was fantastic to work with the entire time! We highly recommend them to anyone thinking about solar.

I wanted to install solar on my home in West Virginia...researched the two major companies that do so and selected Mountain View Solar. Installed a 10kW system along with 2 Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries and an EV charger. System was recently commissioned and is working well. The initial survey went well, next step was the solar panel installation which requires a dry roof (rains a lot in the WV mountains), then the battery installation, then the new bi-directional electrical meter by the utility, and then the final commissioning. I suggest those interested in solar review the many YouTube videos on this subject to become well versed on the Tesla solar system. Hang- ups included the installers not having all the parts they needed (or were called away to another job, and once when they did not have a sufficient length of wire to finish). Had to remind them to come out and complete the install. But, all the workers were very professional, the install was very neat, and they were thorough in explaining how the system works. I am glad I am up and running.

We had MTV install our new solar panels and Tesla Powerwall system. We cannot say enough about for the professional team that helped us. Foremost on the team was Stuart who ALWAYS explained everything to us, ALWAYS got answers for us and ALWAYS responded as promised (even on Easter Day!). We came to rely exclusively on Stuart for getting answers to our questions and chasing the resolution of any of our concerns. Not only Stuart was excellent (he became my consistent hero), all of our technicians were wonderful. Respectful of our property, always on time as promised and just a pleasure to work. Our solar system from MTV works flawlessly and we highly recommend MTV for installation of your solar system. One word of caution, the Tesla Powerwalls were the only holdup in our project, but that was a delay in delivery from Tesla. MTV kept us apprised of their efforts to expedite delivery but, Tesla is Tesla and well worth the wait.
