We love this small but dedicated company. We had our panels installed several years ago. There have never been any problems and they blend in well with the rest of the roof so the panels are hardly noticeable. Our energy bills are low. When we had a recent hail storm Nate’s team came out free of charge to inspect our roof. Fortunately there was no damage to the panels. We highly recommend this company.

Asheville Solar installed a 8kw ground based system with battery backup at my house. Nate and his crew did a great job of explaining the process, installing the equipment and working with the utility company to get us up and running. I really like having a battery backup system rather than using a generator. I had them come back and install a EV charger for me as well. Now, my EV is charged by the sun!

Asheville Solar installed our system about 5 years ago, and we have been completely satisfied with it. We contacted 3 companies to give us a quote, and when Nate came out he spent over 2 hours explaining how the system would work and even crawling up on the roof to take measurements. Also of importance, Nate guides you through the Duke energy rebate process by providing a "script" ahead of time with all the necessary information to avoid any surprises which is critical considering the available rebate pool is usually exhausted in less than ten minutes. As an architect who has worked with many companies and subcontractors over the years I would highly recommend Asheville Solar Company for your solar needs.

We contracted with Asheville Solar last year to install 8000 watts of solar panels. I did a lot of research on the subject and decided that their approach was the best. The job went well and we frequently have a $12/month electric bills (the connect charge) with no energy purchased. I am very glad we did this as working with Nate and his crew was a pleasure.
