Sugar Hollow Solar

We remain very satisfied with our solar system. But what makes Sugar Hollow such an excellent company to work with is its employees. Again this past week we were very impressed with your installers.....Tony and his colleague--friendly, answered all our questions, provided pictures and video of work and concluded with a quality installation. Thank you.

I recently completed a solar project with Sugar Hollow Solar. The company has a great process where you have a project manager and a team member contact throughout the process. There is great communication between the homeowner and Sugar Hollow. Eli the crew leader for solar panel install did a fantastic job of installing the panels and testing them. He also was great at answering questions. The battery and system install was done by Andrew and Robbie. They did a great job of getting the batteries in the perfect spot and getting the electrical panel wired. They also answered a lot of battery questions. Each group did a great job at cleaning up at the need of the day and only was here 2 days for solar panel install and 2 days for batteries. I appreciated that they would answer my questions and not just point me back to the project manager. Sugar Hollow does all the work for the permit and county inspection and works with Duke to get you paired into their system. Joseph C worked closely with me to get the Duke pairings and approval. After Duke approval Caroline came out and turned on the system and spends a lot of time training you on the system and the app to run it. I would highly recommend Sugar Hollow Solar. The whole process went very smoothly. Hoping for a lot of sunny days going forward.

The staff at Sugar Hollow Solar, from the sales team to design and project management were communicative throughout the process before our install happened. The install teams lead by, Clay and Robbie were amazing! Professional, well organized and made sure we were completely comfortable with what they were doing. Finally, Parrish, who commissioned our system, took the time needed to explain all the ins and outs of how our system operates and even how to navigate the app! We have been thrilled with every step of this process and in our first month post install we saved hundreds of dollars. Our system continues to operate at peak performance! If you are looking to install solar at your home or business, we give our highest recommendation to Sugar Hollow Solar for professionalism and effectiveness! In a word, Amazing!

Sugar Hollow staff are very easy to work with and answered all of our questions. Their work started and finished according to schedule. There were no hidden costs. Every single person we worked with at Sugar Hollow was professional, courteous, and helpful. Our solar and battery back up system is working well and we are so happy to be creating our own energy. I highly recommend Sugar Hollow.

Fantastic experience with local solar heroes, Sugar Hollow Solar. After Helene, we moved up the priority list our decision to invest in solar with battery backups, and we are glad we did! Highly professional and committed team, from sales through installation and commissioning. So many amazing staff, can’t name them all - but as one of just two NC solar installers that are members of the national gold-standard Amicus Cooperative, and the only WNC “home town team” you can’t go wrong with these guys. Even with federal incentives sadly ending this year, our power bill is down by nearly 75% in a time of ever-increasing rates - and next time the lights go out for a week or two (or more!), we will be ready to support family, friends and neighbors with plentiful clean energy. Thanks Sugar Hollow Solar!
