Solar Negotiators were easy to work with and I found them to be less expensive with more value per dollar for their equipment than what was being offered by their competitors. The install was done in a quick and efficient manner and they were also very knowledgeable about their product and quick to answer all questions. They also took the time to explain our system and what we should expect to see in the lowering of our power bill. I would and do recommend them to all that our shopping around. Solar Negotiators are not only there for the installation but I’ve found that they are also there and very available for any after install needs. If you make them your choice you and your home will benefit.

Also we get them cleaned once a year for free! This company has been around for years and they know what they’re doing. I’m very happy with my solar system from Solar Negotiators. Jeffrey from sales kept great communication throughout the early part of the project. The rest of the team did a great job the rest of the way. The installation only took one day and that crew was great. Finally, Sherene did a great job setting me up with the apps and showing me how to interpret and monitor the solar and battery production. The system is working great and it’s nice not to ever have to worry about expensive PGE bills again.
One of the things they will not tell you about when you purchase solar is how long the whole process will take. If you are planning on buying solar to AVOID paying high summer bills. Start the process at the end of summer. That way when summer comes around again you'll have the permission to use your solar.We financed our solar, but because of all the DELAYS we not only had a finance payment we also had ALL the high summer bills to pay on top of it.One of the main delays was that we needed to upgrade the main power panel before the solar system would be installed correctly. They insisted on installing the solar panels BEFORE the permit to START work on the main panel. So they installed the solar panels in one day, but without the main panel the whole system was USELESS. After almost two months they got the OK to work on the main panel. Then it took 2 months to get the inspections to pass and then one more to get the okay to FINALLY use our panles. We were paying for 5 months for the solar panels to sit there collecting DUST and not solar energy.We complained about the delays. They helped us pay one bill and then said it was very generous of them to have done so. Because, "we're now on a normal timeline." And according to them ALL the other delays are to be expected. They never said that it takes half a year to see any benefits from solar.Also, once you pay. Expect delays in response from customer service. They were very attentive during negotiations and during signing. But once they collected their money it took days and sometimes a week to hear back from them with any kind of update.So when I'm asked if i would recommend getting solar. I will tell them the truth, I have paid $687 a month and saved $0 dollars thanks to solar in 5 months. Maybe this will change in the future but right now this has been one of the more frustrating experiences and definitely one of the most expensive ones.
