Wayne is top notch. Knowledgeable, trustworthy, and friendly! The process from start to finish was smooth and communicative. If you’re looking into solar or batteries I highly recommend using Solar Brokers USA.
Our experience was outstanding from first contact all the way through installation and beyond. Not only did Wayne advise us on how to best design the solar panel system we wanted for our home, but he spent extra time explaining why certain microinvertor was better fit for our design compared to what a competitor was offering. Wayne also made sure communications were followed up, especially when county permits were taking longer than expected and the installation window before federal tax subsides was quickly approaching. I highly recommend Solar Brokers to anyone who wants the best customer interaction and follow up support.
I had been thinking about getting solar panels for years. In 2025 I learned that the federal tax credit for solar panels was ending, so I decided to attend a Solar Brokers dinner presentation and ended up working with Wayne Brechtel of Solar Brokers to finally get the panels. Wayne made the process of working with Lumina Solar to get panels, and to handle, together with Lumina, all of the administrative details (permission, filing for tax breaks and other incentives to go solar). Lumina Solar was also great to work with. Federal tax breaks are ending as of 2026, but if you're still interested in getting solar panels, Solar Brokers of Maryland and Lumina Solar are a great starting point.
Wayne was an absolutely awesome expert on everything solar! We were really inexperienced and had a million questions and he took the time to help us understand our options, was quick in his follow up, and came up with a great plan. We would highly recommend him to anyone considering a move to solar.
Last May we worked with Nick Briggs to get the best option for adding solar panels to our house. This was the second time we have worked with him and just like the first he was with us every step of the way. He even got the solar company we ended up using to give us a discount on removing 7 panels after they were installed for a contractor to fix a leek in the chimney. The whole process was very smooth with all work complete with little to no disruption to us. Even now months later we still keep in touch and reach out with any questions or concerns.
