Solar Stan Solar Cleaning & Pigeon Eviction

The team at Solar Stan did an amazing job! We had been dealing with pigeons ever since our solar panels were installed, but it’s now been over 6 months with no more pigeon problems. The pigeons came back once, took a look around, realized there was no longer a safe space on our roof, and haven’t been back since. If you have solar panels, I would highly recommend having the Solar Stan team come out and take a look!

I don’t usually write reviews… but this one earned it. I had a full-on pigeon situation under my solar panels—like VIP penthouse living for birds, complete with daily “deliveries” down my roof, over the gutters, and straight onto my driveway and walkways. Not exactly the vibe you want when your house is supposed to be your sanctuary. I’ll be honest—when I got the quote from Solar Stan, my first thought was: “I can probably DIY this for way cheaper.” Then I pictured myself spending an entire weekend crawling around on a sloped roof, questioning my life choices… and decided to call in the pros. Very glad I did. The install quality was seriously impressive. The wire mesh they used is super rigid and strong—not some flimsy afterthought—and the attachment method is rock solid. What really stood out was the attention to detail, especially around the inside and outside corners. You can tell they took their time and did it right, not just fast. And they didn’t just block the birds—they handled the aftermath like pros too. They fully cleaned and disinfected everything: roof, panels, downspouts, walkways… all the lovely places pigeon chaos had touched. That alone was worth it. Bird droppings aren’t just gross—they carry disease—and knowing my kids aren’t tracking that stuff into the house anymore is a huge relief. Now for the plot twist: after my panels were pigeon-proofed, all the pigeons moved to my neighbor’s roof (sorry, neighbor ??). TWO DAYS later, I watched a hawk swoop in and take one out right there. I was equal parts amazed and slightly offended… like, “Where were you BEFORE I hired Solar Stan?!” But here’s the kicker—even with a hawk in the mix, the pigeons were back on my neighbor’s roof within a week. Nature tried. Solar Stan actually solved the problem. Bottom line: I like birds… just not living under my solar panels and redecorating my house. Solar Stan delivered a permanent, high-quality solution, saved me a sketchy DIY roof adventure, and gave me my clean, worry-free home back. 5 stars all day. Highly recommend.

Solar Stan solved our very serious pigeon problem. They were thorough and professional, and they left our roof and yard clean and odor free. Since completing the job they have checked back with me several times to see if any pigeons had returned. We have generally been pigeon free, but recently we did have a few birds return briefly, and then move on. When Solar Stan learned this, they let us know they would come back and check our roof. They are living up to their promise of guaranteeing that we remain free of pigeons.

We recently had solar panels added to our roof, and our contractors alerted us to a massive pigeon problem. We reached out to Sarah at Solar Stan, and right away we knew this was the right company for us. Sarah is incredibly knowledgeable about managing pest problems related to solar installations. Her quote was quick, clear, and very reasonable. Scheduling was simple, and the final product exceeded our expectations. She even went above and beyond, cleaning up and sanitizing our yard after removing the mess the pigeons left behind. Highly recommend Sarah and Solar Stan!

Use them, Use them, Use them!!! I cannot say enough about this company! Dealt with Sara regarding an appointment & getting our panels cleaned. Within a weeks time, they were able to fit us in (which is amazing because as you know, most places are months out) and actually were able to come 2 days ahead of our actual date which worked out even better! Sara herself was on our roof with her team. They were so friendly, so nice, so courteous and informative. They communicated during the time they were at our home with what we they were going to do, what to expect, what we should achieve from the cleaning, etc. Such a professional and thorough company! We had pigeons roosting under our solar panels so Sara and her team cleaned under our panels, on top of our panels, washed away all of the bird droppings, feathers, etc. from our new roof as well as from under the panels and on top. Our panels look so nice and the mesh they put on to block the pigeons from roosting underneath looks exceptionally nice! We don't have any more pigeons, yeah!!! :) We also just found out that Solar Stan puts up Christmas Lights! With the pristine and immaculate job they did cleaning our panels, I could only imagine what a phenomenal job they would do putting up lights!! This company completely exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be referring this company to everyone we know!! Hands down, GREAT company, you will NOT be disappointed!
