Reviews

What customers say

Customers praise the team's communication and responsiveness; one customer found Christian informative. A customer valued an upfront, no-pressure quote, while a different customer reports that the company did not stand by its written warranty and requested payment whenever an inverter failed, despite the customer's understanding that parts and labor were covered for the first ten years.

I’ve worked with Christian on various projects over the last couple of years, and it’s always been a great experience. He’s consistently responsive, makes time to meet, even on short notice, and is exceptionally organized. Christian is someone I genuinely enjoy working with. He brings a calm, honest, and solution-oriented approach to every project. As a true Idahoan, he embodies the kind of integrity and kindness that really stands out in this industry. Highly recommend working with him and Powered Alliance Solar.

I’ve been interested in solar for a very long time and have tried several different companies. Being honest, having ethics and integrity has been very hard to come by in this industry unfortunately. Christian and his crew were a breath of fresh air. These guys have great communication, great product, and best of all a name you can trust!

Biggest mistake getting solar through this company. They do not stand by their own written warranty I have already spent thousands to get them to honor it once, and now I am in the same situation again. Hunter was very proud of the warranty when he was here using it as a selling point, then they want hundreds every time an invertor goes out when they clearly stated all parts including labor is covered the first ten years.

Hunter was very up-front with the pros and cons, no pressure quote and very friendly. Solar is an investment, a financial commitment with long-term benefits to your wallet and the planet. We are glad we did it, three months so far of $0.00 power bills; even with AC running all-day and two full-time work-at-home computers station, multiple monitors, sewing machine, printer, TV, etc., running nearly 7 days a week. From design, to install, to service the folks at Powered Alliance Solar have been great.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a Powered Alliance solar project take?

Physical installation usually takes 1–3 days; consultation, permitting and activation can take 4–8 weeks overall, depending on location and utility company.

Will customers still have an electric bill after installation?

A bill may remain, sometimes only a basic connection fee. When a system produces more energy than it uses, the customer may receive utility credits or payments through net metering where available.

What happens to solar production on cloudy days or at night?

Panels produce less electricity on cloudy days and stop producing at night; electricity can come from the grid or battery backup if installed.
