The panels actually look great on our roof. After the system was on, Jinglin Zhang came to help us download the monitoring APP to see the energy production on my phone. Not knowing much about solar panels, I was a bit nervous about who would be doing my installation. I had read some real horror stories online. Thankfully, Team Sunshine is the installer that my solar company uses. They were very good to work with. They kept me up to date on scheduling and always returned my phone calls when I had questions. The work they did was top notch and they cleaned up the area before leaving when the job was completed. I feel very fortunate that they did my installation. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
Terrible, terrible company.This is essentially a sales driven company with no qualified in house crew to actually perform the work for heat pump installation. The sales team will promise everything and make it sound amazing to get you to sign, but once the contract is in place, the nightmare begins.They outsource every single task to third party contractors and only act as a middleman for “project management.” Because of this, nothing is coordinated properly. Scheduled work dates are constantly pushed back, often with little to no notice, and timelines mean absolutely nothing.Even worse, they do not proactively handle permits. If you are not already knowledgeable about what permits are required, you will get burned. In my case, the project dragged on for six months without proper permits, and when I was finally forced to apply, the work failed code inspection.My heat pump project has now been dragged out for almost a full year, is still not completed, and I am left with an open permit. This is something that should never happen with a competent contractor.This company creates endless stress, delays, and financial risk for the homeowner. If you are looking for a contractor who actually has skilled crews, understands permitting, and respects timelines, stay far away.
