I called some other company first when my boiler stopped working in the middle of winter. That company charged me $100 to tell me that they couldn't fix it and quoted me a huge amount of money on a new boiler system without even specifying the brand of the new boiler on the quote.
Then I called Aqua Care Solar. They actually fixed my old boiler to get it through the winter, then went over options for top of the line replacement boilers that could be installed after winter was over so my family didn't have to live a week without heat in the dead of winter. The new boiler runs great and the zones are organized better to give me a level of heating control I didn't have with the old system. I couldn't be happier with their service and equipment!

To reduce the gas usage of our heated pool, I contacted a number of solar engineering companies to ask for environment-friendly options. Aqua Care Solar came up with the most realistic and convincing proposals.

Considering various options, including a solar thermal system, they finally recommended installing a cold weather electric heat pump and increasing the size of our roof top solar array.
This was a relatively complex project because the pool heat pump had to be integrated into the existing water circulation system. The external heat pump also had to be mounted on a pedestal and secured against high winds. Then the controls had to be brought online in a location where there was no existing WiFi coverage. So, this project needed a lot of specific problem solving and tailored solutions.

My contacts were Pete and Adam. Both are very knowledgeable on all aspects of solar engineering and construction, including the electrical and control side. I was particularly impressed with how effectively they coordinated the work with the pool builder, who took over the plumbing work. They also took care of all the permitting with the city of Boulder. The system was installed to my full satisfaction in April 2023. It is surprisingly quiet, heats better than I had expected and has already saved significant amounts of gas in the cool weather of this spring. The total cost of the project was also very reasonable and stayed within the agreed budget.

In summary, I had a very pleasant experience using Aqua Care Solar and fully recommend them for installing heat pumps, solar panels and the like. In fact, I plan to use their services again for further environmental upgrades to our house.

I have an 8 year old Solar thermal system that has performed wonderfully. 3 days ago it failed. I called the company that installed the system and and trouble shot with them a couple times, without any success. Then I called them again to see about a service call. They said they couldn't help on the phone any more but they could send a tech out in 2 weeks for a $200 minimum charge. I called Aqua care and spoke with Pete 5 times over a 3 hour period and my system is running fine.
This company is great and I highly recommend using them for solar thermal installation and related maintenance issues.

My parents installed a Novan solar hot water system back in the 70's and it worked for decades. But they got older and stopped taking care of things and by the time I took over their house, it wasn't working. I thought it might be a write-off, but Boulder's Smart Regs energy standards had me taking a look at getting it fixed.

Aqua Care to the rescue! They checked out the system and made a detailed list of what could be salvaged and what needed to be replaced. They were able to save more parts that I expected. It still wasn't cheap, but a good investment compared to some of the other alternatives for Smart Regs compliance.

Aqua Care was great and their work was excellent. System works perfectly now, probably will for a long time to come. As long as it does, nobody that lives there will ever run out of hot water again.
