We love our whole-house battery storage installed by Independent Power Systems (IPS).  IPS may not be the biggest or cheapest in the Front Range, but I strongly believe that they are the best for design and installation.  Here are a few reasons why:  1) Everyone I dealt with at IPS was extremely competent and professional.  There's no B-team.  2)  The IPS design and installation were perfection, especially when comparing their work to a local competitor.  3)  IPS has a process that works.  The handoffs from sales to design to installation all went very smoothly.  4)  IPS is local and has been in business for over 29 years.  When buying a battery with a 15-year warranty, you want someone to be there for support and service.  5)  IPS sells the three biggest battery systems, Tesla, Franklin, and EnPower.  Each has different merits, so having a choice is good.  6)  And finally, IPS designs large industrial installations worldwide, so they can probably solve any challenge you have.  And a few big shoutouts:  1)  To Noah, for going the extra mile to ensure our design was absolutely the best.  2)  To Ryan and Dave, for superb workmanship on the installation and for tolerating my constant hovering.  Everything looks beautiful.  3)  And to Megan, for excellent communication and for keeping everyone and everything on track.  In summary, if you're thinking about battery storage, just do it with IPS.  We have absolutely no regrets.

Contracted Independent to swap my crusty furnace for a new heat pump system. I solicited three other bids, and no other company was as knowledgeable and transparent about the scope of work and recommendation for heat pump unit. After receiving three bids, and working closely with all other companies, I knew Independent Power had the expertise to execute the install and provide the right product to keep my family safe. Independent doesn't contract out the work, their employees show up and do the job. Very impressed with how thoughtful the team was during install, keeping the house clean while doing a dirty job. IL was present for install as well so there was continuous quality control. Not only that Independent also got me in the HEAR program and saved me thousands. Note, I might have been one of the first to get the HEAR rebate, and Independent Power was one of the few qualified installers. Everything they promised they executed from beginning to end. Not only that, but the Mitsubishi system installed is one of the top in market, so don't forget you get what you pay for. In terms of this kind of investment, you want the caliber of this team doing the work. You have a life long loyal customer after my experience. Thank you again Independent Power.

Great from start to finish. Forrest was great informing me of my options with no high pressure sales. He told me of a lot of savings and HEAR rebates and xcel rebates, which I wasn't even aware of. Carley the Project manager was great in dealing with ALL my questions and making sure i had everything submited to get the discounts and rebates. The electrical team led by Jadon with Kael and Marino, answered all my questions, requests, and concerns. They performed clean work and left all areas worked in clean. They took a rats nest of a panel and turned in into a clean good make-up. They upgraded my 150amp service to a 200amp service and brought it up to current code. Patrick with his HVAC team Taryn and Aman really did a great job relocating the new unit to a better location. They also went above and beyond replacing a flexible duct with a hard duct in my mechanical room. Patrick was great in explaining the system and making sure all our questions were answered. I would highly recommend Independent power and their team for any HVAC or panel upgrade needs! I'm waiting on the inspections, but with how everything has gone so far I'm sure its going to go great!

We had Josh and his team out to install outdoor soffit lights and handle some other miscellaneous electrical tasks we have needed for years on our home. We also had Patrick & the HVAC team work on getting our house a lot more comfortable in all temperatures. Everyone we have dealt with has been knowledgeable and beyond courteous throughout the entire install process. We couldn’t believe how easy the team worked together to help each other out and leave our home cleaner than they found it. We look forward to having the Independent Power be our one stop shop as we move forward with a solar expansion, heat pump, attic fan install, basement finish and even more outdoor lighting while we are at it!
