Reviews frequently note clear communication, responsiveness, and detailed explanations during repairs and replacements. Many customers mention successful inverter swaps and smooth panel removal/reinstall during roofing projects. Several describe systems brought back online the same day, with timelines adjusted appropriately for weather. There is an isolated complaint about panel handling expectations during storage, contrasted by many positive remarks about coordination and care.
The communication was clear, weather delayed the project, but we rescheduled and everything went smooth. I’m very happy with the service as we finally found a company that strictly focuses on serving solar and not new installations!
SunQuest Solar replaced our old inverter after it failed, and the experience was great from start to finish. They explained everything clearly and had the system producing again the same day. Excellent service!
We used SunQuest Solar for a panel removal and reinstall when we replaced our roof, and they made the whole process stress-free. Very responsive and knowledgeable, everything was back up and running right on time.
We hired Sunquest Solar to handle the removal and reinstallation of our solar panels during a roof replacement.During our initial interview with the owner - who initially came across as professional and courteous - we explained that we own the solar panels outright and wanted them handled with care. We also shared our concern about leaving the panels outside, exposed to weather and wildlife, and agreed they would be stored safely inside our living room until reinstall. The owner expressed understanding and assured us this would not be an issue. Also discussed whether he could complete the work within a specific timeframe, as we had an already-planned road trip. He confirmed he could. Unfortunately, that assurance did not hold, and we ultimately had to cancel our trip. After signing the contract, communication from him noticeably dropped off, though we assumed he was busy and gave him the benefit of the doubt. The experience took a sharp turn on the day of uninstall. The crew arrived with no drop cloths or protective materials for the panels - something we had already discussed. Instead of taking responsibility and saying something as simple as, "I'm sorry, I forgot the materials," the owner became defensive and surprisingly hostile. His response to our concern was, "if you don't want me to do the job, let me know!" - a statement that felt not only unprofessional but also vaguely threatening. This was especially upsetting given that we had even prepared tarps to help protect the panels if needed. It left us wondering whether our "small job" was no longer a priority after he recently secured a large city contract.Communication after uninstall was essentially non-existent, and an apology for his behavior never came. Scheduling the reinstall was similarly difficult. We were given one date, only for it to be changed with just two day's notice via text. When we asked about the date change, the reply was noticeably curt and dismissive, offering no real explanation other than a vague mention of "weather delays." Considering we hadn't had rain for three weeks, the reasoning did not make sense.Funny enough, after the reinstall, we received an invoice the very same day — along with multiple emails and text messages requesting payment — even before the city inspector had been contacted to finalize the project. That level of eagerness to collect payment contrasted sharply with the lack of communication and professionalism throughout the process. We value professionalism and respectful dialogue. Unfortunately, our experience with Sunquest Solar did not meet that standard. Customer service and clear communication are essential, and in our case, both were lacking.
If I could give more than 1000 stars, I absolutely would!I can’t thank Cletus from Sunquest enough for everything he did. From day one, he went above and beyond — tracking down all the open issues, setting up the electrician, taking care of inspections, maintenance, and paperwork — literally handling everything from start to finish.I had just moved into a house with an unfinished solar setup and was completely confused about what to do. Cletus made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely cares about getting things done right. If you’re looking for someone honest, dependable, and truly exceptional at what they do — Cletus and Sunquest are the ones to call. Easily the best experience ever!
