I couldn't be happier with the solar battery backup system installed by Go Solar WNY. Bob worked with me to accommodate getting the system installed on short notice. He and his crew were punctual, knowledgeable and ensured that everything was setup perfectly. The quality of work exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Go Solar WNY for any solar or battery backup needs.
Was in the market for a whole home battery backup system (to pair with my existing 30 solar panels). I needed to find someone who had the knowledge, experience and, equally as important, was able to commit to installation prior to the end of federal tax credits expiring. Contacted several contractors and chose Go Solar WNY. Am happy that I did. Bob managed the project efficiently as he worked with partners from other required areas (equipment suppliers, electricians, etc.) and got the job done on time and on budget. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bob and Go Solar to others looking for solar-related work to be done. By the way, have already had two power outages this winter and the Enphase system worked flawlessly.
Bob at Go Solar WNY had very many positive reviews and that is why I contacted him when searching for a solar installer. I found out why he had so many positive reviews.During the process of getting the plan approved with local permits a favorable neighbor passed away and estate representatives caused a postponement of permits. This made getting everything installed and operational by the 12/31/2025 federal tax credit deadline questionable.Well Bob got to work over the week-end and came up with a new plan that would fast track the process. He and his team got the job done well before the tax credit deadline. My system is online and working well. I can't say enough about how glad I am that I selected Bob at Go Solar for our project.I might add that our system was on a new building that required a new electric service installation, new pole, and tie into the grid.Quite a bit of work to get done, and they got it done.
Bob and his team at Go Solar WNY were absolutely outstanding! From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. The quality of their work truly exceeded my expectations, they not only installed everything flawlessly but also went above and beyond to make sure the electrical setup was incredibly organized and neat. It’s clear they take real pride in their craftsmanship. I couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend Bob and his team to anyone considering going solar!
I'd recommend Bob and Go Solar WNY to absolutely anyone interested in getting a solar array installed. I did extensive research in Fall 2023 and got bids from several local installers. Bob was by far the best considering he was my point of contact from start to finish throughout the design and install. His crew were friendly and professional and did great work installing the array. Even after install, Bob was so helpful in understanding my NYSEG bill and making sure my billing was looking correct and helped explain everything. I'm very happy with my investment and with the current federal and state tax credits available, it's a great deal that will save us over $1000 a year on electric and break even on install cost 15 or so years into the 25+ year life of the system. I got it installed in March and monthly have not paid more than the $20 service charge and $8ish consumer benefit contribution fee charged by NYSEG. The excess energy production during the summer will likely cover our needs through the lower production winter months.
