Grady was my sales associate who provided a detailed and thorough presentation of the proposed installation and was patient with me as I asked questions on the more technical aspects of the service. Rodney was excellent with communication throughout the permitting and Fortis Alberta phase, and then the installers were polite, efficient and provided a neat and tidy installation.I had contacted 3 companies for a solar proposal, Solar YYC were the most professional and offered a fair price for the system. Our solar installation by SolarYYC was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Their care for their clients was evident by each indvidual that we interacted with. It started with Tyler and the proposal that was built for us. He was the ONLY estimator from all the companies we received quotes from that pointed out that although we were able to meet our generation needs with a set of panels accomodated by our existing 200amp panel, should we choose to add panels in the future we would need an upgraded panel with a larger bus bar. By including the panel upgrade in our initial install we were able to maximize our Greener Home Loan and ensure in the future adding panels is as simple as new panels and microinverters and not more complicated wiring. Paul took over and handled the project management seamlessly. We were kept informed of all status updates on permits and construction schedule. The installation was smooth and tidy and exactly to plan. When we had issues with new GFIC breakers that were unintentially tripping, Paul and the team at SolarYYC made sure it was right before closing out our project. In the end, SolarYYC comes with our highest recommendation and we look forward to calling them up in the future when its time to add to our system.
