Micheal went on zoom on my computer and enlightened me about everything. He was very helpful both before me accepting a contract and all during the project. He was always available both to talk to or text me on my phone. He helped me on the financial part and setting up a date to do the job. The men came early and were great to work with and very informative, they completed the job in 2 days. Michael was with me all the way from beginning to end. He also helped me set up Enphase so i could see what was happening when it was up and running. Mike in my opinion was great to work with on everything very smart young man. It's been 10 months since our installation, and our electric bills are lower than ever, consistently exceeding our expectations.What truly impressed us was that their initial predictions for our solar production were actually lower than what we've achieved, meaning our electricity costs have been even more significantly reduced than anticipated. This level of honest and conservative projection, followed by outstanding performance, speaks volumes about their integrity and the quality of their work.The installation crew was incredibly efficient and professional, completing our project of over 40 panels in less than two days. We are extremely happy with the entire process and the fantastic results. We wholeheartedly recommend Second Sunrise Solar to anyone in the Upstate NY area looking to go solar!For 8 months a year, we generate much more electricity than we use. Beware of NYSEG-they have added additional fees so even if we don't use any electricity from them, we still see a bill of $40 but that isn't a solar issue, that is a Governor Hochul issue.
From the moment we spoke with Jon Weiner we felt we had the right company. This guy works all the time, calls on weekend to make sure everything was going smoothly.With Second Sunrise pretty much everything was done for us except the e-signatures. Yani Lantigua came on board to be the single point contact keeping us apprised of everything that was going on with the project, we never had to wonder where we were in the process.The roofing guy came out on the worst weather possible, heavy snow, single digit temperatures and high winds. They powered through seven straight hours until the work was done, it came out looking fantastic. The following week the solar panel guys and Electricians (Mike and Brian) arrived to much the same weather -4 windchill. They were out there working for 9 hours nonstop. Kudos to them all!A few days later the inspectors came over and couldn't say enough great things about the job especial the electric work.Amanda Caiola kept us in the loop on the utility companies process and explained how the they turn on the system and what the next steps were. Yani helped us with the system app and how to use it.All and all this was a great experience, I highly recommend this family run company to anyone looking into solar and reducing their power bills to almost nothing. Can't say enough good!Thank you all.
Can’t believe they got my solar install done in one day! The roofers with the panels and the electricians were excellent to work with and they explained any question that I had. They were very thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them!
I was extremely hesitant on going Solar but after speaking to Scott and Jon they helped me understand all the benefits it would bring me while also saving me money. They had great communication with me throughout the whole Process and made it an incredibly smooth process.The installation was just as smooth and their team was extremely neat and explained everything they were doing to ease my concerns. I would definitely recommend giving them a call to see if they could possibly help you also.
