Dan and his crew were prompt, very friendly and thoughtful as they installed our battery. We had the remnants of the ice and snow during that time. But they always swept up the dirt that got tracked in. Their attention to that detail and the ways that they were clear about what was happening at each stage of the installation make us feel confident about the quality of their work. Excellent service by Sunday Solar in Charlottesville! I liked the fact that I was able to find a local business to perform our home solar system installation. Our salesman, Philip, was prompt, professional, and responsive. We received multiple quotes from companies in northern Virginia and Sunday was competitive with the other businesses. Emma, our project coordinator, was also professional and responsive throughout the entire installation process. We wanted to ensure our project was completed ahead of a December 31 deadline, and Sunday Solar was realistic about what they could promise and completed our project ahead of schedule. Our panels are up and running now and we are pleased with how everything turned out.
SunDay Solar deserves countless stars!!! If every business operated like SunDay Solar, the world would be a much better place! The staff is AMAZING and I cannot emphasize this enough. Grace is the sweetest and most helpful person one could ever talk to! Eric is extremely knowledgeable and responsive! And Simon is so down to earth and technically sound! Recently, we ran into some issues with our inverter, and since the company who installed our panels no longer exists, we had to seek help elsewhere! SO incredibly happy we found SunDay Solar! Simon was able to diagnose the issue and had our inverter up and running again! How I wish we had known about SunDay Solar before we had our solar panels installed by another company a few years ago. Better late than never! If your solar panels are ‘orphaned’ and any issues arise, make sure you contact SunDay Solar! If you don’t have solar panels yet, and you’re shopping around, I highly recommend SunDay Solar!
Initially, Alicia from SunDay Solar spent a couple of hours explaining everything to us, reviewing our usage and current system, and then - just a few weeks later the panels were on the roof! Installation day was smooth and expedient. Everyone was extremely pleasant and professional! The solar panels blend in with our back roof, and definitely do not draw negative attention to the lines of the roof. What could be better than using the sun's energy to heat and cool the house, water, and everything else!! That is what I call a "win-win!"
Before signing with SunDay Solar I did some homework, had a basic understanding of systems, what panels and microinverters we wanted, and got quotes from other local companies. SunDay not only gave a competitive quote, they were most accommodating regarding system needs and design. Their ten year warranty and quarterly monitoring is included. Everyone we dealt with was professional and easy to communicate with, from Tim sales, to Eric project manager, Sam design, Tyler installation, Nate and Miles electric, to Grace office. They took care of all the permits and inspections, as to be expected, in timely manner. Positive experience and we’re happy to have a our solar system fully operational. Good work by SunDay Solar.
