Put the solar panels on my house. They were quite efficient, had them up and running in no time. After having our panels installed I can confidently recommend Florida Power Services to anyone looking for solar panels.

We came in with very little knowledge and they handled everything for us while also explaining everything to make it understandable. When it came time for the installation they were very friendly and made sure to clean up after themselves without us asking. The panel layout looks great and all the cable is safe and secure from any weather inside the conduit.

Plus, you can track your savings as they are happening. Overall, I would recommend this to everyone in the market for solar panels who isn’t looking for a hassle.

Also they responded to emails very, very quickly. I appreciated all they did.

I am so thankful we found Joe and FPS. We had such a nightmare story with trying to get solar installed at the beginning and Joe helped us out. Over the past couple weeks, we encountered a problem with one microinverter that caused a substantial reduction in the power on one panel. I emailed Joe and he responded on the same day, creating a service ticket with Enphase in a matter of hours. He followed up on it and now we are back at full strength. Our system has been performing better than I expected since the beginning and the service through FPS is phenomenal. Excellent company that will continue to help even after the installation.

Florida Power Services recently finished installing our 11.6 K solar system and we cranked it up last week. I have worked with contractors in a field other than solar power and gone through detailed bid procedures. We didn’t do that in this case but we were looking for the same thing we always do in more rigorous bidding processes and that is, finding the least-cost-competent contractor. The simple translation for that term is, “Best Bang for the Buck.”

We found that with this company. The owner, Joe Forest, is very direct and honest in his dealings and will let you know what he thinks is the best solution to your energy-producing requirements. I received a detailed quote and checked that, along with what Joe told me about the system components and projected performance. Everything I was told checked out and we got the process started. From there, we immediately received engineering drawings and paperwork for permits and within a week, work began. The installation crew, including the owner have obviously done a few of these and there was an efficient, coordinated effort resulting in a clean, finished product in two days.

The panels look sharp and all conduit, inverter boxes and other hardware reflect a top professional installation. Upon completion, the crew took aerial shots of the house and solar hardware via drone and sent us a picture from above showing the finished product.

We could not be happier with the entire process and result and give Florida Power Services our highest recommendation.

I hired Joe to put in a 11.75 kw system. I had some TECO rebates, which gives you only 90 days to get everything done. If your contractor runs behind on schedule, that is too bad and you can lose your rebates. Obviously that didn't happen, otherwise I wouldn't have written the 'Excellent' review.

FPS was on time for every appointment. Joe got the work done right on schedule, and the system works great. The system has been live for almost 3 months and I estimate my payback will be about 4.5 years based on my own numbers. The reporting system is very detailed, so you can see what your system is producing and cross-reference it to your actual bills. So you'll know pretty quickly if the system is going to pay-off as expected or not. The actual numbers are better than what FPS predicted, so I'm happy that they used conservative figures.

I didn't have time because of the 90 day rebate window to get multiple quotes, so I took a chance based strictly on online reviews. I'm really glad I hired FPS. The bottom line is that it got done on time. Joe was 100% professional, and the system will pay for itself in less than 5 years. And every requirement for the TECO rebate was met, so I am completely happy with the work. His attention to detail was very good, small things like conduit being painted white to match my siding. I was very concerned about panels being visible from the front of my house. There were chimneys and all kinds of obstacles making this a difficult installation and putting the rebate dollars at risk, but everything worked out great.

I definitely recommend Joe. I really can't believe how low my power bill is now. I'm just thrilled. And yes, this is a real review. I'm sure Joe knows who I am and you could confirm my system's data with Joe using the online reporting tool and see for yourself that my system is working great.
