I am a real estate agent that represents a seller who installed one of their systems 3 years ago. I called the number on the paperwork and Ches answered immediately. He was super kind and spent 10 minutes explaining the details of the system on my clients home in layman's terms. I very much appreciate his taking the call and spending the time.
It’s very difficult to take these negative reviews as genuine given the fantastic experience I’ve had with Sam. Reliable, good follow up, excellent fair advice. I stalked a new investor for us, could have talked us into a more expensive one but didn’t as he felt it wasn’t justified. Great guy.
They installed a ground mounted unit for me last year & did a great job. Great communication & great work at the time.The low score is similar to what you are reading on these other reviews, the recent communication or lack thereof. I was told they would send us the needed tax forms for the Federal Tax Rebate & I have reached out multiple times since January to get an ETA but no response.--I emailed my main contacts, no response--Left several voicemails on their main phone #, no response.I can't recommend a solar company that cannot send a single email or return a call after the work is completed. Especially with something so trivial, I'm afraid what will happen if I end up having a real issue with my solar set up.I hope they are able to get over whatever issues they are currently facing as this used to be a great company.
I’m not for sure if this company is real or not. I signed all documents and financing paper work in April of 2023. Installation was suppose to be done in July of 2023, but due to differences in plans that they had and what the city had installation has been postponed. After the installation was postponed there was no follow up from them. I had to call them multiple times, and if I was lucky to get someone on the phone they always said it’s gonna be another couple of weeks. The only time the called me was when a salesman tried to sell me solar again when I already had stuff lined up with their company. In OCT of 2023 I get an email that the financing has been canceled. I had to call Solar Sam they did not reach out to me. Allegedly parts didn’t get ordered soon enough by Solar Sam and it should be fixed in a week. I haven’t heard anything from them since. I really regret choosing them when I could have went with a real company and already be enjoying Solar.
Solar Sam was amazing they were very aware of my time and made this experience great. I wasn’t too sure about everything and they took the time to answer all of my questions and they were not high pressure sales people. They were very family oriented and because of this they treated us like they would expect to be treated in the same situation. They believe in their product and services but they know not everyone is in the position and they take that into consideration. They aren’t head hunters they are customer service oriented and they do things completely different than any company I have came across. Everything was tailored to my specific needs instead of just having pre fabricated options. No two deals will be the same because no two households are the same and you can tell that they care about everyone they deal with and they are passionate about their service. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of switching to solar reaching out to Jeremiah or Ches at solar Sam. They will not disappoint. Thank you Solar Sam I am great full to have had this experience!!
