If you’re thinking about solar, Broker Solar is THE company you want to do business with. The entire project was handled professionally with great communications and attention to detail. Installing solar/batteries at your home is a huge investment and I had great confidence with Broker Solar handling my project. I’ll hit on a few topics that really stood out to me along the way.Sales: I had reached out to 5 or 6 solar companies for bids on my project and Broker Solar was the only company who wasn’t pushy or gimmicky to sell me solar. The entire sales process felt like they truly cared about me being happy with my system and that they were not just trying to make a sale. Their professionalism, quick communication, and phenomenal price/value led me to signing a contract with them.Pricing: I wanted as big of a solar and PowerWall 3s that my utility would allow - to ensure I needed little to no grid reliance. Broker Solar had presented me with several options from top tier manufacturers to help me decide what was best for my budget. Their pricing was beyond fair and competitive compared to the other companies I reached out to for bids. I’m a nerd so I had a big excel spreadsheet to compare all of my bids, and going with Broker Solar was a no-brainer.Project Management: Broker Solar handled the entire project very efficiently when it came getting plans, permits, communications with the utilities, inspections and their installers. All I had to do was make decisions along the way, and of course issue payments in a timely manner. They were extremely swift with each phase of the project to ensure I was in operation in 2025 which was vitally important for federal tax credit purposes. They kept me informed about every during the entire process.Installation: The installation went very well with great attention to detail. It took two days for 30 panels and PowerWalls. Day 1 for the panels. Day 2 for PowerWalls, Gateway, and other electrical necessities. Their crew was very polite the entire time. The crew presented me with options at certain points of the installation to ensure the install met my expectations. I appreciated that they made everything not only functional, but also aesthetically appealing (solar array, battery mounting, and meter box mounting). I also valued that they used rigid conduit. The crew also cleaned up after they were finished and it was like they were never there. After the install was complete, the County and Utility inspectors quickly passed the system for operation and the electricians promptly finished the final portions of the install to commission the system.Function: I’ve only had the system for a few days in December (shortest sun days of the year), but my system has produced more kWh than I have needed each day, which gives me great confidence that this is a robust system and will set me up for those hot summer days when the AC is running a lot.Overall: I really only have positive things to say about Ken and the Broker Solar team. They truly have been the best contractor for any trade I have ever dealt with. Again, solar is a big financial investment and I give Broker Solar my highest recommendation to handle your project. I am so excited to have my own rooftop electrical power plant that provides my home with 24/7 power!
I’ve been really impressed with the job Solar Broker is doing for me. They are super knowledgeable, transparent, and focused on helping people actually understand their options instead of pushing a sale. If you’re considering solar, this is definitely the company you want to talk to.
Broker Solar did an excellent job servicing my Enphase solar system. They diagnosed a failed communication board and replaced it promptly. Throughout the process, they were highly knowledgeable about Enphase monitoring, made sure my system reconnected properly, and verified that all microinverters were reporting data again. Their technician explained the issue clearly, walked me through the steps they took, and confirmed system performance before leaving. I was very impressed with their professionalism, technical expertise, and efficiency. I highly recommend Broker Solar to anyone needing reliable solar maintenance or troubleshooting.
Three things: Professional, highly skilled, and good customer service. Oh, I forgot, great value and competitively priced! These are the people to talk to if you want to be on the grid, off the grid or anywhere in between with a hybrid system. My off grid solar system is maximized for the space I had on my limited South facing garage roof. I am very pleased. My batteries are still 60% full in the morning and are back full again by noon. I am running 10 essential circuits in my home full time off grid, saving money and protecting fridges in event of a power outage. I recommend them highly.
