Customer feedback often highlights helpful communication during permitting and installation, with several noting responsive coordinators and efficient crews. Positive reviews mention smooth financing approval and timely updates until utility inspection. Critical reviews cite unmet sales promises or confusion about rebates and payment start dates, suggesting customers should get all terms in writing. Overall ratings trend positive but note that clarity on incentives and timelines is important.

CHRIS DIAZ-COLON on TriSMART

Dear TriSmart Solar Customer Service,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a breach of agreement by your sales representative, Aaron Quesada, who sold me a solar panel system in El Paso, Texas. I had my solar panels installed in September 2024 based on his representation that I would receive a $2,000 rebate for the first year. However, to date, I have only received $400, leaving a balance of $1,600 still unpaid.

Despite multiple follow-ups and waiting patiently for over six months, I have yet to receive the remaining rebate as promised. I also want to bring to your attention that I have text message evidence from Aaron Quesada confirming and promising that I would receive the full $2,000 rebate. This proves that I was deliberately misled, and this situation is unacceptable.

I expect this matter to be resolved immediately. If I do not receive the remaining rebate, I will be left with no choice but to pursue legal action against both TriSmart Solar and Aaron Quesada for misrepresentation, breach of contract, and potential fraudulent business practices. Additionally, I am prepared to file formal complaints with the Texas Attorney General’s Office, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) if this issue is not rectified.

On a positive note, I want to acknowledge that TriSmart Solar has great customer service and a team that is genuinely willing to help. I hope this issue can be resolved in the same professional manner that I have come to expect from your company.

Please provide me with a written confirmation that you will honor the agreed-upon rebate and send the remaining balance. You can contact me to discuss this matter further.

This is my final attempt to resolve this matter amicably before escalating it legally. I look forward to your prompt response.

Sincerely,

Chris Diaz-Colon

If anyone who works for TriSMART shows up to your door making promises that sound too good to be true, don’t even open the door. I was told by Ramon that I wouldn’t pay for two months and that I will be starting after that period of no payments. I even clarified with Ramon about whether or not it would add up if I don’t pay for those two months and he said I wouldn’t have to pay any additional costs and that the payment will just resume after that “no payment period” as if I got the equipment then. Come to find out, interest has been acquiring during those two months and the amount I’ve been paying for 10 months has been going to that acquired interest. I currently still owe the same amount from when I initially got the panels and he changed his number so I can’t contact him. I feel scammed and lied too. If I could go back in time and shut that door, I would because these solar salesmen only care about getting a check and they don’t care who they step over to do so. Ramon aggressively pushed incentives and pressured me into signing a solar panel contract saying that it’s just a place holder I can cancel anytime, leaving me feeling trapped. I was also told when asking about cancelling the contract, that I would have to acquire $2000 in CASH right then and there at the very moment we were on the phone. He stated if I didn’t have the money at that very moment that I couldn’t cancel at all. I didn’t have $2000 currently as I had a child on the way.

We got solar panels last year with TriSmart. Aaron helped us out throughout the entire process— he has been attentive , responsive, friendly, and has never pressured us on anything. He has made the entire process easy for us and has always responded to our questions on time . We have not had any issues with the solar panels either. I recommend them %100.

Professional staff that communicated well throughout the process. They got me qualified for financing when others were giving me a hard time. Very satisfied with the quality and installation of the product. The team of installers was quick and efficient. A customer service rep called me weekly to keep me informed of the process until the system was inspected by El Paso Electric. I'd definitely recommend doing business with them.

I used TriSMART Solar to install my systems, and Chris Rodriquez was my sale personal that made the process and the experience well worth every penny, he was always a phone call away and always keep my family updated and the next step, this process took awhile due to the city and electric company, but cause he keep us posted make the time goes faster , on installation day the crew that show up was very professional and work fast.

I would recommend 100% and I hope this help someone that might be as scared as I was to go solar my system is not fully connected / operational just yet , but so far it’s 100% installed and I like what I see 100% . Await this city and electric company to do there part .
