We have our solar system for two years now. I am so glad we chose option one they are amazing. Option one calculated our prior year of electricity use and gave us three estimates on the size of our solar system. They took care of all the permits and worked with Southern California Edison to get the permission of use. The day of the installation I was surprised how many workers came that day they handled the solar panel and other equipment with care and everything was clean when they left. Option One Solar has the best customer service even after the installation, they even check on you to make sure the system runs properly. I have no regrets that we chose option one solar this is the best choice we ever made our electricity bill is $0.00 dollar and I couldn't be happier and I recommend Option One Solar to anyone.
[Whittier] I had an excellent experience with Option One. Completing a solar project is complicated, and they were on top of the details from start to finish: managing details well, keeping me updated, and answering my many questions. One feature of my job was to re-roof the section for the panels - they were able to bundle it into the loan, all as the same job. I interacted with many Solar One staff in the process and all were considerate and good. I'm not saying all was perfect, as that's not possible in such a complicated job - but they were good and considerate and always took good care of the issues (e.g. LA county inspector scheduling challenges). I am very pleased with my new battery back-up system that I own, and gives me independence from California's grid.
Our solar panel installation with Option One was one of the easiest, most trouble free home improvement projects we have ever done. From the very start all our questions regarding system size, installation procedures, equipment options, pricing etc. were answered in one phone call. We never heard "I'll get back to you about that". All the paper work was done online and Option One completed all the filing required by LA County. The job was completed on time and for the price we were quoted, and there was no construction mess to clean up. Option One employs their own install crew. They don't sub the work out to just anybody available. When finished there were one or two small issues the county inspector didn't like (LA County can be hard to work with) and Option One corrected them quickly. I can check the function of our system via phone or PC anytime, and it has been performing perfectly for about 18 months now. We did a lot of research on various installers, and Option One was not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive. My wife and I highly recommend Option One for all your solar needs.
Option One Solar is my number one choice for Solar. I am very happy with my solar, had great customer service, friendly staff and very respectful crew worked on my solar. I had done some searching prior and spoke to 3 other solar companies. None of them appealed to me, either they didn't want my business or they tried to sell some outrageous costly set up . When I called in, I got an an excellent customer sales rep that took the time to explain the materials, the labor and the cost, what was best for me based on what my need was from solar. We choose Option One based on neighbors recommendations and it was the best price. Cannot speak highly enough about the entire process, from sales, design, installation and follow up. The system has been working perfectly for over 2 years. They designed a well balanced system for us with a battery. We have a negative balance on our electric bills at true up. The battery has come in handy with a power outage. The installers did a great job. They handled the permit process. The Enphase system they sell is really good.
