Reviews

What customers say

Customers praise Grape Solar's technical support, including guidance through an off-grid installation; one customer also says the mounting kit was well engineered enough for a solo 12-panel install. A customer says Grape Solar sent a replacement panel within about a week after one arrived shattered and quickly remedied a charge-controller problem, while another reports multiple controllers melting, missing connectors from two kits and a dismissive response to the reported fault.

Bought 600w system through Lowe’s. We live off grid in the crown of Maine. Joshua at Grape Solar has been excellent to guide us through the install. We can run refrigerator phones and lights. Grape Solar Beats the $20,000 power company wanted plus monthly charges. We are very happy. Incredible customer service!!

I ordered a 600 Watt Grape Solar panel kit from Lowes in November 2020. When I opened the box for one of the panels it was totally shattered. I took it back to the store and they said I had to return the whole system. They also gave me Grape Solar's phone number. I was disappointed when I left but called Grape Solar when I got home. They asked me to send pictures and they sent out a new panel that arrived in about a week or less. The new panel worked well. I also had a problem with my charge controller and they remedied that quickly. I think they make a good product and they certainly stand behind it. Today my 600 watt system was putting out so much electricity that I had to plug in my nearly 20 year old refrigerator as well as the smaller chest freezer I usually have plugged in and it was still putting out more than enough energy for both.

I bought my Grape Solar panel mounting kit through Lowe's and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm new to solar equipment installation and the people at Grape Solar were extremely helpful. The kit was very high quality and well engineered so that even I could do the 12 panel install by myself. I highly recommend Grape Solar for great products and fantastic customer service.
