Others reported frustrations related to installation challenges, expectations about system performance, and follow-through on post-install work. Overall themes include communication, problem-solving efforts on complex systems, and concerns about delays or service scope.
I had an installation by Solgen (now Purelight power) a few years ago and have since had leak issues. Purelight came and removed the panels, fixed the leak and just told me this morning THEY NO LONGER WORK IN WASHINGTON STATE. They REFUSE to reinstall the panels I paid for in full!!!!!!!I have solar panels just sitting in my yard, railings installed on my roof and they refuse to finish the work!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!I will be retaining an attorney and will go after them. If anybody wants to hop on that lawsuit - please message me!!!!
Sabrina and the others at Purelight are a great team to work with. While there certainly have been some significant challenges with our installation, for the most part, they have been proactive and looking out for my best interests.A system of the complexity such as ours have with solar, battery, and generator, are bound to have issues. "Can do" attitudes are what has made working with Purelight a good experience.
I have had a terrible deceptive experience with this company. I was told by their salesperson I was getting a system that would power my home it was installed in October of 2023. I called in December 2023 stating that the solar system was producing little to no solar power. I was as asked to wait a year for an audit on the power being produced. by waiting as a consumer all customer cancellations options are expired. I waited as requested and had an audit in Dec 2024 I was told I have a system was working at 90% capacity but the solar system that was installed was design would produce only 1/3 or less of the solar power I needed. This was news to me. If I was informed of the small amount of solar power that was going to be produced by this system in 2023 I would not have had it installed Solar systems are not cheap I believed the salesperson that I was getting a solar system that would power my home. The sales person no longer works for this company How many people did he do this to? Do NOT TRUST THIS COMPANYThe manager of this company has not returned my request to speak to him/her since 12/24 it is now Jan 16,2025.
The group of Pure light power, did amazing work installing, and keeping my family updated on things going on with our solar panels, and provided post install instructions and app to monitor our systems production, very much recommend them to anyone.
Purelight handled everything and did a great job. It’s all under one 25 year warranty. No maintenance. Support contact info for any questions or issues. They handle the install, the roofing, the inspection…everything. I can see the power I’m generating and monitor my system in their cute app. Truly the easiest and best home upgrade I’ve ever done! Highly recommended.
