Before selecting Helios, I got several quotes from local and national companies.Brandon was the primary contact for my install; he was easy to communicate with and always quick to answer any questions. Brandon, Connor, and the whole team did the install on time and exactly as promised. They have all the equipment needed to do a professional install. It only took one-and-a-half days to install my ground-mounted system. It is operating as expected, and it is nice to know that Helios is here to provide any support if needed in the future.There are numerous solar installers out there, and solar energy can be a large investment, so don’t pick the wrong company! Helios is an established local company, and I’m very impressed with their work.

We are very happy with the Enphase solar electric system we had installed by Helios Solar in May 2022. Our system is 17.8 kW (44 panels) with a 30 kWh battery backup. We have an all-electric house with geo-thermal heating/cooling and an electric car, so our energy demand fluctuates a lot, making the system design challenging. Helios worked patiently with us to get the right design to meet our needs, including waiting for certain product upgrades to become available before proceeding with the installation. The installation process was smooth and efficient (2 days to install panels and 1 week for battery system and wiring). Communication was clear and detailed throughout the entire process. The Enphase products they install are cutting-edge technology. We've had 4 or 5 outages since the install and the battery backup is seamless and has met our energy needs. Because our geo-thermal energy demand is so high, Helios installed a load controller unit that automatically shuts off the geo-thermal when the battery reaches a pre-set percentage that we can change. We can then switch over to our wood stove and preserve the remaining battery for the rest of the house. The Enphase reporting systems are intuitive and easy to use, and provide us with the feedback needed to optimize our energy usage and minimize our costs. It is abundantly clear to us that the professionals at Helios are not just out to make sales, but are true believers in solar energy and designing systems that their customers will be happy with over time. Recently, while we were away on vacation, our system stopped communicating (no loss in function). Helios detected the issue and requested an appointment to come and fix it (no charge). I'm pretty sure this is the first time we've ever had a service provider contact us when something stopped working. Helios is a great company to work with if you are considering installing a solar system.
