Customer feedback frequently mentions clear communication, low-pressure sales, and helpful system design guidance. Many note tidy installations and reliable performance after completion. Several reviews cite responsive post-install support, including help with component issues. A few mention delays tied to permitting or parts, but still describe overall positive outcomes.

I worked with Nabu Energy for a solar installation on our home because they offered the best balance of value and high-end equipment (Solaria, Enphase), and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. Unlike other companies that hit you with high-pressure sales tactics, Nabu felt like a partner designing a system that was uniquely tailored to our needs. The installation crew was professional, cleaned up after themselves, and the system is performing exactly as promised. If you're looking for a Bay Area solar team that actually knows their stuff, I highly recommend them.

I had Nabu Energy install a solar system with battery storage for my home a couple of years ago. Although the project was completed later than originally planned due to parts shortages and permit delays, the overall installation was done very well.
The workmanship was solid, and the system has been performing reliably. What I especially appreciate is their customer service after the installation. Last year, one of the system components malfunctioned. Nabu Energy promptly sent a technician to my home to diagnose the issue. They identified the defective part and then coordinated directly with the manufacturer to have it replaced under warranty.
The entire process was handled professionally and efficiently, and I felt well taken care of. It’s reassuring to know that they stand behind their work and continue to support their customers after the project is completed.

Great value from a certified Tesla Solar vendor. I contacted Tesla and handful other solar companies before deciding to go with Nabu.
Several factors made me decide to use Nabu:
- They are local, a lot of the solar companies are sale org and just sub out the work. Nabu has their own local crews.
- The sale process was straight forward. I had a quick FaceTime session with them and they were able to figure out the technical requirments quickly for my house.
- They didn't try to upsell me on stuff I don't need. I was able to get the REC 430W panels with my Powerwall 3. Tesla only uses QCell panels, not as good as REC.
- They are certified Tesla installer. This is important as my installation involved moving main electrical panel and new Tesla gateway installation. I can't simply use the Tesla backup switch since my gas meter is too closed to my electric meter and main panel. You want to find out upfront to get the correct scope of work.

Pricing was fair. Installation crews were great. They didn't rush and the workmanship was good.

Great customer service and amazing experience with Nabu! I like that they take care of everything in the solar process, from start to finish. Their communication is great and were always quick to respond when we had any questions. They also explain things very well and I appreciate that they were able to simplify everything for me, as I didn’t know anything about solar panels/batteries prior to meeting with them. Pricing is very fair and competitive compared to others in the area. They also do not use contractors - all staff including those doing installation are employees, which cannot be said for other solar installation companies. The longest part of the process was with PG&E, but that is out of their control and seems to be normal. We’ve had our system for about 9 months and haven’t had any issues. Overall highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of working with Nabu Energy to install 27 solar panels and 2 Tesla Powerwalls, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. From the very beginning, I noticed how different Nabu Energy was compared to other solar companies I had received proposals from. There was no high-pressure sales pitch—instead, their team of engineers took the time to explain everything in terms I could easily understand. They were patient with my many questions and focused on helping me feel confident in my decision. I was presented with three well-thought-out system options based on both my current and future solar needs, which gave me the flexibility to choose what was right for my home.

I ultimately chose Nabu Energy because it was clear they had my best interests at heart. The contract was comprehensive and transparent, leaving me fully informed about the process. After signing, we scheduled a design review over Zoom, where the team walked me through the proposal in detail and answered every question I had. The design exceeded my expectations and showed how much care they put into tailoring the system to my home.

Nabu Energy coordinated delivery of all the equipment ahead of time, and everything arrived smoothly and on schedule. When installation began, the crew was punctual, respectful, and highly knowledgeable. The quality of their work was excellent—down to details like color-matching the conduits to blend with my roof tiles and house exterior. Our house is a tri-level with a tile roof that is 36 years old, and there were zero issues fastening the system securely. The system was installed without a single hitch, and I could tell their craftsmanship was second to none.

Now that it has been 10 months since installation, I can confidently say Nabu Energy delivered on every promise. Their estimates for solar production have been spot-on, and the system has worked flawlessly. Their professionalism, work ethic, and follow-up have been exemplary. If I ever decide to expand my system with more panels or additional batteries, I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again. Nabu Energy is a company that truly goes above and beyond, and I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone considering solar.
