In the rush before the loss of the 2025 solar credit, Trojan Solar installed a 27 panel , Powerwall 3 , and a new breaker panel within 6 weeks! I was online with more than a month to spare! (Nov 21!)Jacob and his team were able to answer all of my (pretty technical) questions on the system design, unlike the competitors I spoke with who didn't know the reasons behind the decisions. Tojan had all the answers.The installers were very professional and finished the install in 2 days. I may even use their electricians for a remodel next year. Everything was done on schedule, as promised, despite bad weather. Zero complaints!I've had the system almost 2 month and it is behaving better than expected (we just passed Winter solstice). I recently moved into this house and my power estimates may have been a bit high causing things to be overbuilt, but that's on me. Just got my first full month electric bill... $12!!!! (I hope free night plans continue!) A few mild winter days we've even given back more grid power than we used. We'll see what summer brings.I highly recommend Tojan Solar. The price was competitive, and I can't see how anyone could have done the job better!
When I bought my house, it already had Solar panels that the previous owner had installed through a different company. I got the reference to Trojan Solar from my Solar inspector Michael Finney.Since CoServ was not giving me net metering option, I wanted to store any surplus Solar energy in a battery so that I can use that when the sun goes down. That’s where Trojan Solar came in the picture. They recommend the 15 Kw FranklinWH aPower 2 battery. Jacob and Bayleigh did an excellent job with the entire project. Starting with the system design and getting the necessary permits from CoServ and the City of Frisco, till the actual installation and commissioning of the battery. . .everything was done in a timely professional manner. Their master electrician Eric and his assistant Angel were excellent and did the entire install in a day.Not only that, Jacob put white stones underneath the battery (see attached pictures) to allow proper drainage and overall look beautiful.They also added in open cell foam insulation for my attic at a nominal charge.Overall, I am very happy with the project and would highly recommend Jacob and Trojan Solar. A job well done.

Jacob uses the best!Thompson & Sons did my install for Solar Sales of North America.They had to adapt to some local restrictions and roof placements and did the job quick and very well. Most impressive was the electrical / city inspection. In roughly 50 years having 5 houses, 2 pools, 2 additions, and 3 other major projects inspected, this was the ONLY construction project with ZERO DEFECTS.
