Rarely do I actually take the time to respond to a product engineer. You know in real life, you buy something and expect it to work but many times you do not actually get what you expected. I am sure that you have heard this many times before but your chlorine free sun shock floater completely exceeded my expectations.

I have a swimming pool in the San Joaquin Valley in California at a rental house that I resurfaced several times because the black algae gets out of control. The chlorine level was toxic to swimmers, it was as if they were swimming in a bleach bath. I used every pool chemical known from 3 different pool stores, big box and small family owned businesses. I spent several thousand dollars a year for chemicals. It wouldn't be so bad if they actually worked. Just an FYI, I have been maintaining my personal pool for over 45 years so I have some experience. That system has oversized DE filtration with a variable speed pump so it is an awesome set up.

On the last resurface a buddy of mine just happened to come by and mention he had his chlorine free sun shock floater for over a year and it worked great. WOW! I had something to look forward to instead of just trying again.....I actually thought it was something I did or didn't do.

After filling the pool and the chlorine free sun shocker it looked great!! 1 week later, the same. 1 month later, the same! This was early spring so we were pleased but knew the true test would come when we got to those 100 degree weeks with bunches of kids in it. At the beginning of the heat we noticed a little green along the edge of the floater but realized we were pushing the ratings of the floater so we purchased another floater. Perhaps we were over critical so we didn't get out of control again. No problems. It was if we were expecting this to fail as we had purchased so many other chemicals to just fail. We realized pool supply stores sell chemicals for a living and these supposed algae solutions are probably the most profitable products for them.

My personal pool is twice the size of this other pool so I have 3 floaters in that pool. Nothing but clean, super clear water. Wonderful!!

This is the 2nd Remington Solar fan we've installed since remodeling our home. We installed this unit above the garage attic area along with the 12v accessory device and it really does make a significant difference in lowering attic space temperatures! Great products.

I purchased a Remington solar pool copper/silver ionizer. This is the best product for a pool ever! Support told me to drain pool of all cyanuric acid. Drain pool anyway to rid all the salt! What an amazing product. My dog drinks pool water(beach entry pool). My last dog, developed an autoimmune disease and didn’t survive. Kids, adults, and pets should not touch a pool with high doses of chlorine and cyanuric acid (stabilizer). I am on my second year and very easy to clean and is very reliable.
After owning a salt water pool for twenty years, this is the first time I have not had an algae problem! Muriatic acid is almost never needed anymore! (I used 2 gallons a month).
On my second copper/silver rod. Again, greatest product for a pool ever!

I have had the solar pool cleaner for two years and found it to be outstanding. You save on chemicals, and no more chlorine smell. The water is so clear and soft. I even bought an extra one because I don't know how long this one will last. It's more than paid for itself the first year.
