This was the second house I put solar on. My roofer recommended Citrus Solar which I thought was a good sign. I researched them online and found great reviews and an informative website. I had multiple companies come out to give proposals. When Citrus came to the house to give an estimate (on Saturday), I was surprised to see the owner there when I opened the door. (I recognized him from the videos on their website.) He said the regular guy was backed up and he didn't want us to have to reschedule.I was interested in getting solar panels and a battery system, as I have SRP and they screw you on the demand charge, if you don't have a battery for on-peak times when the sun goes down. He suggested a dual-Power Wall system and mounting them outside, in the back of the house, rather than in the garage or by the breaker box. This was a more cost-effective option, and it kept the batteries protected and out of sight.I chose Citrus for several reasons: price, knowledge and customer service. They excelled at all three! The system was installed on time and has been running great! My system is offsetting my electric bill, except for the annoying service and solar charges SRP includes. I would definitely recommend Citrus Solar!
In a world populated by door to door solar goons, Citrus really stands out. When I first read about them, I was skeptical. I could get an online quote instantly, without someone coming to my house to try and con me? No way! Sure enough though, that is exactly what happened. I worked with Tim, who answered all of my questions, and facilitated the paperwork and install. Clear communication. Sexy panels on my roof. Money well spent. Give these guys a try!
Extremely happy with Citrus Solar and the installation of our system. Very informative throughout the process and there were no surprises. We recently had solar installed on our home. From the initial conversation, Greg was patient, easy to talk to and answered all of our questions. Each question or concern we had was answered with honesty as if he was talking about his home. He informed us of all the benefits and explained how to size the system we would need. From cost to equipment to installation we were very impressed throughout the entire process. We now have an amazing system. We have enough panels and a Tesla battery that allows us to optimize our energy consumption. After it was completed, he even took the time to explain how it worked on the Tesla app. We are so grateful to Greg and Citrus Solar for making this experience stress free. Please do yourself a favor and check with Citrus before you make your final decision.
