Elevation Solar was excellent from the start! Great customer support and superb service from technician who came out, on time…in fact he was a bit early which was great…he fixed my issues, took his time and even went above and beyond to make sure I don’t experience issues in the future. Took lots of photos and then took time to explain his findings and the photos he took. I would highly recommend this company!! Thank you Elevation Solar for the great service!!
Elevation has been a pleasure to work with. From sale to installation everyone has been professional and delivered on what was discussed with no lag. After install support has also been provided and was excellent. I found a broken corner tile that may or may not have been from the install but when my roof warranty co punted saying it wasn’t their job to fix, Elevation did so without any fuss. Highly recommend this AZ local Co for your Solar business!
This is going to be a long review. I implore you to please read this all If you’re considering Elevation for solar, here’s our experience: I have all the texts and emails to back this up. We started our solar journey in April, expecting a smooth process and a guaranteed completion by July—plus a “no payments for 6 months” perk. From the start, there were issues: paperwork mysteriously lost, our names misspelled, and we had to sign documents twice. It should have been a red flag, but we pushed forward.Come June, there was no progress. The only update we got was, “We have been busy with other customers.” When someone finally inspected our electrical box, they spent two minutes before telling us we needed to relocate the box and get a whole new system—requiring a new agreement. Meanwhile, we were offered various reimbursements and discounts, which sounded suspicious. The bank then sent us an outdated loan agreement for more money, causing further delays. Every loan change cost us $250 in fees, even when mistakes weren’t ours (these were later rolled into our loan agreement, but it was still frustrating).By July 8, we got a new completion projection: August 1. Only later did we realize the “6 months no payment” perk had already started counting down from the original projected completion—not when the system went live.Electrical work was scheduled for September 4. Multiple confirmations, but no actual progress. The day arrived; I took off work, only to get a call that the permit wasn’t ready and the electric company wouldn’t be coming. This pushed installation out another month. The electric box didn’t need moving after all, but this mistake delayed everything—revisions to plans and loan documents included. Finally, panels were installed on October 14. Communication remained abysmal: Elevation never called ahead before sending people, sometimes they just showed up and got on our roof without warning (we have a dog, so this was an issue). Even minor things added to the confusion and frustration. After installation, we failed inspection because the install team forgot to put an address tag on the electric box (they never made one). I had to follow up repeatedly and only got vague responses like, “I am checking on that,” about our payment window. When the tag was finally installed, they spelled our address wrong, so we failed inspection again. A new project manager, David, was brought in and assured us things would be fixed—they weren’t. The tag was eventually replaced, but the next step with the utility (TEP) still didn’t happen. Elevation claimed they’d contacted TEP, but TEP said they’d heard nothing. I had to schedule the inspection myself as the customer. The system was finally turned on in early December—months after the original promise. By then, our “6 month no payment” perk had expired, pushing our first payment to January. After our original sales rep, Danny, stopped responding, we worked with Janson, who was helpful but was then let go. Our case was then passed to Jordan Kilgore, who has since ignored all our emails and calls. At this point we were approved for a 6 month reimbursement from Elevation, we were (and still are) waiting on the check. I was directed to Jordan to follow up and aforementioned ignoring and refusing emails/calls is taking place. This is the last piece of one of the worst puzzles we have ever put together.Throughout, communication was poor, mistakes were never clearly acknowledged or addressed, and everything that could go wrong seemed to. If you value your time, sanity, and clear communication, I would think carefully before choosing Elevation. Our experience was filled with delays, mismanagement, and empty promises. Buyer beware.(I had a lot more to say but hit a character limit. Just, choose someone else please.)
From my short experience with them. I got no complaints. Erick is great with customer service and he’s just a nice guy. Adam was the head field engineer and he was truly professional from A to Z. His two guys were a great crew for him as well. That solar stuff is not easy to figure out but figure it out is what he did. Five stars goin their way.
I’m giving David Barcenas, and the whole team 1 Elevation Solar five stars because they are excellence in service, David has been with me through the whole process. It’s been amazing. They are so truthful , kind, courteous, just amazing. I recommend Elevation Solar to anyone that’s thinking about having Solar put up on their home’s roof. Oh, and I recommend getting solar panels quickly. You are going to be paying anywhere from $500-$1000 a month for electricity and I’ll still be paying $19.56 a month. It’s worth getting the panels just step out and do it. And you have the freedom of producing your own electricity to do with what you want and you don’t have to buy electricity from NV power ever again, be independent ??????????????????
