Solar G came to the rescue after the Company that installed my solar system went bankrupt. They provided a response within 1 Day and repaired my system really quickly for a very reasonable charge. Highly recommend!
We hired Solar G for our project, which was a bit complicated on our end (not for any reason related to the actual solar panel install, but just because of all the timeline logistics and delays due to our other renovations, electrical panel upgrades, an existing system that wasn't working, etc). They offered a reasonable price, quick installation, and most importantly, Edvin and Vardan were both really great about responding to my questions and working with us/being flexible!
In 2019 I paid a deposit to Tesla for solar tile installation. In 2022 they cancelled the order because the product I'd ordered wasn't made any more. But they said I could make a new deposit for a new order. This time they got as far as looking at the roof (presumably via Google Maps) and they said it was too complex, and cancelled again.I kept hoping (and waiting) that someone would come out with a product that was as good looking and functional (or almost as good looking and functional) as Tesla solar tiles, but it never happened. The roof was old and needed repairs every year. in addition, the new roof had been installed on top of the old roof, so the whole thing needed tearing off and replacing.Because of the shape of the roof every quote I got for panels looked very ugly - like someone had randomly dropped a selection of panels on the roof. Then Tesla started offering third party installers. I started the process of getting quotes, but two of them cancelled after they saw our roof (it's steep, it has two round turrets). I found SolarG, who were willing. The tear off and installation process took about 5 weeks, but there was a crew there 6 days a week, and they kept working when the temperature was over 100.The end result was not cheap (but it was cheaper than any alternative I found), but looks amazing. When the sun shines just right, it is just possible to tell which tiles are solar (in the image, you can see that some of the tiles that are not at the edge are darker - these are the solar tiles) but you need to look very closely. The turrets were particularly difficult - other installers said that they could not make the turrets match the rest of the roof, and then decided that they couldn't do the turrets at all (one of them suggested copper). The installer said he'd had sleepless nights thinking about how they would be done. The turrets look great, and are a perfect match to the rest of the roof.We are waiting on final inspection, and then the system will be turned on. I'll try to remember to update this when that happens.
Solar-G was amazing. The whole process from 1st discussion to going live took about 6 weeks...and this included a new roof and all the permits required by the city ! The staff were friendly, professional and extremely responsive. We are very happy with the result and will highly recommend Solar-G. In fact, we worked with 7 other solar companies before and ALL were a TOTAL disappointment, especially the big national chains.
Solar G installed a new roof, Solar and electrical panel for us. We are very pleased with the whole experience and highly recommend. They were direct, responsive and honest during the planning stages. Once the work began they were accommodating and effective at getting it done. They went out of their way to make sure we had power during the install and sequenced the work to minimize downtime.Thankful to the whole team!
