First used Jay of AZ Accurate Solar and AC in Jan 2016 to replace our 80 gallon solar hot water tank. It lasted 10 years and now in Jan 2026 I contacted him to replace it again.I left a message and he responded to my call on the same day and was able to schedule a service call the next day. Jay and his assistant arrived just as scheduled.We had a solar hot water system that was installed in 1988, so he calculated the cost to upgrade the system with rebates vs just add a new tank vs remove the old solar system and convert to a traditional electric hot water heater. Because we may sell the house in a couple years it made the most sense to remove the old solar system and just have a traditional hot water tank installed.Jay and his assistant were able to remove the solar panel and all the solar equipment and install a new hot water tank in 3.5 hours. He showed me how to periodically flush the tank but mentioned that he can also do it for me if I call him to inspect the AC. He also does roof re-coating.As a low overhead business his prices are less than big companies with large advertising budgets.
We have been an Arizona Accurate customer since 2015. Our service from Jay and Matt has always been high quality and on time. Most recently, we had an a/c issue. It conked out in late June and Matt came out over the weekend to provide service. Matt advised that a coil needed to be ordered/replaced and he would order the part asap. Meanwhile he added freon to the unit so that we would be comfortable until the repair was done. As it turned out the part was back ordered/unavailable. Over the course of 6 weeks, Matt followed up on the status of the coil and added freon to our unit every two weeks so that we would have a/c. We were not charged for the 3 or 4 freon visits which was a blessing. A big thank you to Arizona Accurate and a definite recommendation.
We have been a customer of Az accurate since 2012. Today we had an issue with our ac not blowing cold air. I called and Matt and he arrived within 20 minutes ( so unusual for companies to arrive so quick) . Thankfully Matt was able to solve the problem and he had us up and running within an hour of the call! Thank you Matt!
We had accurate replace our solar hot water heater. When they completed the work 2 years ago, they did NOT replace the pan under the water heater as they should have because the old one was smaller than it should have been. They they bent up the one that was there just to make the new hot water heater fit. About 8 months ago we started having problems with the hot water heater 'dumping' water out of it through the relief valve. We called them. They have come out several times but have no idea what the problem is. Of course they have charged us each time, except maybe once, with no solutions. The heater keeps 'dumping' water. Today they came out again, the owner was very rude, said he doesn't know what's going on, lowered the temperature on the water heater and told my husband to cover half of the solar panel if that doesn't work - and of course charged us again.They also gave us false information (when they replaced our solar hot water heater) about replacing our other water heater which is electric and is in a different part of the house. We have had other quotes and they other plumbers gave us completely different information (that were consistent with each other).I do Not recommend AZ Accurate Solar & A/C.
Arizona Accurate came out to check the AC then learned it needed to be replaced. They came out twice to recharge the freon to get us through until they can replace the unit, which it today. We noticed the difference right away. So happy to have a properly working AC unit in AZ summer. Every one we dealt with at Arizona Accurate was beyond friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. I wished I would have taken a picture of our 26 year old unit.
