We just had our solar array of 10 panels installed on the roof of our home and were very impressed with the efficiency and friendly professionalism of Kevin’s crew. Nate has also been super helpful in earlier stages - explaining the process and what to expect as MSS put together the right sized system for our needs. Now we’re looking forward to getting the panels running very soon!!! Yes, it is worth getting solar in Michigan, and we would definitely recommend MSS.
MSS finished install of a $85,000 system on our home in mid October. We originally wanted them to wait until December for install due to some other issues I will not go into. Our sales agent Brad Parish explained from the beginning that we could hold off install until it was the right time for us. Fast forward to September of this year. They were ready to begin install. We on the other hand we're not ready and asked them to please hold off. Brad was in a real yank to get it going, and told us that MSS would be willing to pay our first two months of payments to the loan for this project if we let them start the install right away. We agreed to this, and even signed a DocuSign document stating this agreement. Now fast forward to over two months from that point. We have not received this check for the first two months loan payments. I've been texting Brad for weeks now, who conveniently is more difficult to get a response from. Back before the install I couldn't keep him off of the phone. Now he is very brisk with his responses to my questions, which do not come with the same speed as before. Brad keeps saying that he's submitted the request to accounting and it was approved (I guess I thought this was all approved in September). I try to get more info from Brad, like the ETA of this check, and no answer. Now that the job is completed, we feel like we are no longer important to him or this company. They got their money and now they're done with us. Business is business. I think that we have been lied to. I do have the DocuSign to prove this, and am willing to update this review once we get this promised check of $642.00.As I side note, I do have to say that all of the other dealings with MSS have been pleasant. The crew that installed the system was very kind and courteous. I was prepared to give them a glowing review.Update:I received my check today after bugging a couple more times.
Wow, what a great company. Every question answered. Took care of the entire permitting process. The crew that showed were hard working, polite and patient with all our questions. Big shout out to Dawn in the office that responded like lighting to all our emails. I'm sorry, try as I might , I can't think of a single bad thing to say about them!
