As a family member was supposed to get 2 projects done by them. The sales rep told us that they were going to be their first installation. So all of those reviews and pictures are fake done by another company. This company dragged my family through the mud. Said $5,000 missing and instead of fixing the problem they told them they are out of luck and wouldn’t help them at all. Beyond sad and disgraceful how this owner runs his franchise.To anyone wanting to know how they really are they dealt with it first hand. I would recommend any other solar company in Ontario besides this one. Or at least this franchise.To tell someone “sorry nothing we can do” with $5,000 missing is shameful. To this day they still did not make it right. DO NOT. I MEAN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY SCAM CUSTOMERS AND THEY ALSO HAVE NEVER DONE AN INSTALLATION. There old employee told us that when he works there.they also fired him the next day after he sent in a doctors note that he needed mental health help.This is the company you are dealing with.Stay away at all costs. They also raise prices $5,000 over competitors pricing just to try and make as much money from the customer.BEWARE.
A Sunly Energy installation crew came to my house Monday September 15, 2025 to install our solar panels and a new electrical panel. The installation crew, and the project staff who set-up this install and have been helping me all along this journey so far, all did an awesome job! The solar panels and wiring look great. The install crew were neat, tidy, professional, efficient and easy to work with. Job well done on all accounts!
Had sunly install ground mounted panels on my property last June. They did an amazing job , the support for answering questions while awaiting install was above and beyond. The installer one did a fantastic job and fast, but as important I have a deaf border collie and a golden retriever pup who they made sure to play with and be careful with machinery. Can't say enough thanks to the entire team at sunly and the contractors who helped along the way.
??????????From start to finish, my experience with Sunly Energy has been absolutely fantastic. I initially reached out to them, and Iain Burhoe promptly assigned my project to Dave Scott. Dave visited my home and walked me through the entire process with exceptional knowledge and friendliness. He clearly explained what I was getting, the differences between Sunly’s products and competitors, and the warranties. Although I had already completed the green energy grant process, I appreciated that he offered assistance with it.The proposal was prepared by Mehdi El Amir, and after reviewing it, I signed the agreement and paid the deposit. Kaity McManus then provided a comprehensive overview of the next steps and kept me informed throughout the process. Her detailed instructions about inspections, the Greener Homes Loan, and the paperwork were clear and incredibly helpful.Mehdi conducted the site inspection, including my roof, attic, and electrical panel. He recommended adding one more panel and upgrading the electrical panel due to bus size limitations, providing clear pricing and guidance, which I approved.Once grid capacity was confirmed by Alectra, Mehdi sent the connection agreement, and the installation was scheduled. James Sentner and his team of installers, along with Scott Dwinnell, the electrician, handled the work efficiently. Most of the installation was completed on the first day, except for the panels, due to high winds. A few days later, James and his team returned and finished the job quickly and safely.The entire team at Sunly Energy—Dave, Mehdi, Kaity, James, and Scott—went above and beyond to ensure the process was smooth and stress-free. Their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to help made a complex process feel simple.I highly recommend Sunly Energy to anyone considering solar panels. They are knowledgeable, reliable, and truly care about their customers. Thank you, Sunly, for helping me make my solar project a reality!
