Malama Solar

I closed on my house in early November 2025 and wanted to get solar installed before the 2026 New Year. Contacted multiple companies and was told it would be impossible to do or was just blown off. Malama completed the project by mid-December which was under 30 days from 1st contact to the installation being complete. Super professional, quality installers, Karson was available to answer all of my questions and Pat went above and beyond to make sure this was completed on time. If you're looking to install Solar Malama is the company you should go with.

Malama Solar was awesome to work with. The team answered all my questions and made sure I had the right setup for my needs. They even got the installation done in one day. They were responsive and professional. I'd recommend them to anyone interested in a solar system.

Malama Solar is truly an amazing company! Their customer service is a solid 10/10 friendly, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure every question is answered. The installation process was smooth, efficient, and done with the highest quality. Not only are they fantastic for customers, but they’re also a great company to work for, with a strong culture and values that put people first. I couldn’t recommend Malama Solar enough for anyone looking into solar energy!

I'm absolutely thrilled with my experience with Malama Solar! This team exceeded every expectation from start to finish. The crew was incredibly personable and took the time to explain every step of the PV system installation. Their customer service was top-notch – patient, informative, and genuinely caring. They started early and wrapped up the entire installation by afternoon with exceptional quality work. It's rare to find a company that combines technical excellence with such genuine aloha spirit. The Malama Solar team made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. If you're considering solar, I wholeheartedly recommend Malama Solar. You'll get both great solar panels and a team that truly cares about doing right by you. Mahalo, Malama Solar!

Our family got solar last year, something I’ve always wanted ever since I had heard of the idea! I dealt with Olya who was great at addressing all of my concerns. She set our family up with a system that covered all of our energy needs including our new electric car! It takes some responsible management of our system, regarding when we charge, but driving around on the power of the sun is amazing! We are regularly saving money and it feels good to be living more responsibly. Our situation is kind of particular in that we live in a townhouse and we have to run an extension cord out to our car to charge. We made it work, however, and our association works with us regarding the power cord out to our car. Malama has been very attentive regarding the few concerns we have had along the way even from the owner of the company! In all these guys really seem to care and the care didn’t end once it was installed. They live up to their name in all ways and I would recommend anyone to this company!
