Look no further in Houston. I already had solar and 3 Powerwall 2’s from a different installer 4 years ago. The Powerwall 2’s were a part of the Tesla recall and needed to be replaced. My original installer stopped doing solar, so I need to find a new installer. I also wanted to take this moment to add a 4th battery via an expansion pack. So I started googling solar installers in Houston and saw the great reviews with Solstice. I called and immediately was put in touch with Ashley who was extremely easy to work with as a project manager. She does an excellent job at communicating and over delivered on her timeline. The installers Oscar and Victor were knowledgeable, cordial, and very helpful. They got everything knocked out in one day 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Great experience all around if you need to replace your powerwalls!

Update: Even after sale and PTO this company is great. I did not like that the conduit was silver against my black roof and they not only spray painted the conduit they did but even the conduit from the previous company. It looks great now. My system has been running great in the 2 months since I added extra equipment with Solstice. Again, would completely recommend them for your solar / battery needs.

My whole process with Solstice Solar went great. I had a system installed previously with a different solar company based out of California that since went bankrupt. I was interested in expanding my system to get more solar panels and another Powerwall 3. I was glad to hear that Solstice was able to help me with this and not only that, they said they would be able to get it done before the end of 2025 when the tax credit was expiring. They did exactly that too! My system updates were installed in mid-December all in one day by their crew. I received PTO within 2 weeks too. This was a great change of pace from the previous company I had used which was nothing but headaches to deal with both during installation and afterwards when trying to get PTO as they did not do things properly. Solstice even advised on getting my previous system corrected as that other company had mixed AC and DC which is not advised.

I definitely recommend Solstice Solar and my only regret with them is that I did not use them the first time when I got my initial solar system in 2024. My sales person was Colby and Ashley was the project manager and both were great with communication throughout the process.

The pictures show my installation and the panels on the front peaks are new panels that Solstice did for me. I had to go with 420W panels whereas my previous install was 460W panels but that was due to limited stock of panels and me wanting to get the job completed in time for 2025 rebate.

Excellent Experience with Solstice Solar & SPAN Panel Installation

I had a fantastic experience working with Solstice Solar for my SPAN smart panel installation, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything was handled from start to finish.

I wanted to take a modular approach to solar—starting with a SPAN smart panel to truly understand my home’s energy usage before upgrading to batteries and solar down the line. When I contacted SPAN, they connected me with Solstice Solar, and that turned out to be a great decision.

Alfred Bongato, VP of Sales, was the first person I spoke with, and what really stood out was that he wasn’t trying to “sell” me anything. Instead, he took the time to understand my goals, answered my questions patiently, and guided me toward the best option based on what I wanted—not what was easiest to sell. That consultative approach gave me a lot of confidence moving forward.

Once I was comfortable, the paperwork process was smooth, and Ashley Munguia, the Project Manager, took over. She was extremely professional, responsive, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. She even conducted a virtual site visit, clearly explaining what photos were needed and why, which made everything efficient and stress-free.

On installation day, the electrician completed the SPAN panel install in about 3 hours. The team was knowledgeable, efficient, and handled everything cleanly with no issues.

The following day, Sam came out to configure the SPAN app and walked me through it in detail. He took the time to explain how everything works, how to monitor circuits, and how to get the most out of the system—something I really appreciated.

After the installation, there was some minor drywall debris, and Solstice immediately arranged for a drywall contractor to come out and make the wall look perfect again. That level of follow-through really shows their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Overall, this was a smooth, professional, and well-coordinated experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Solstice Solar to anyone considering a SPAN panel or future solar installation, and I’m looking forward to working with their team again when I’m ready to add batteries and solar.
