Jeremy and his co worker were so helpful regarding questions about our solar panels. They fixed 17 panels that were not working since it was installed. As of now we are waiting for instructions how to order a new panel that is under warranty.
Josh from Bone Dry Solar did an awesome job. We knew someone needed to get on the roof and he did, a few times. He found we actually had 2 parts nonfunctioning and got us back to 100%. Very polite, considerate and knowledgeable.
I was looking for a good solar installer after a lot of negative reviews of the bigger nationwide companies. Bone Dry did good work and did it promptly. They also built a ground based system that I was looking for versus the traditional roof mounted system. Obviously I recommend them.
We had a great experience with Bone Dry Solar and would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering solar in the Indianapolis area.We discovered Bone Dry Solar through the EnergySage platform, and out of all the quotes we received, they stood out—not just for their competitive pricing, but because they’re local to Indy, which was a major factor in our decision. Supporting a local business with deep roots in the community gave us a lot of confidence.Getting in touch initially was a bit tricky, but once I connected with Kyle, everything moved quickly and smoothly. He was incredibly helpful, transparent, and made the entire process feel easy. Angelica and the installation team were amazing—professional, respectful, and efficient. They kept us informed throughout and made sure everything was done right. The financing process through Climate First Bank was also refreshingly straightforward and felt completely above board—no hidden fees or sketchy terms, which was a relief.Overall, Bone Dry Solar delivered a top-notch experience from start to finish. If you're in Indy and thinking about solar, definitely give them a look.
I started thinking about solar power in April, and mentioned it to a Bone Dry Roofing employee that was repairing a piece of soffit on my house. He mentioned that they now had a division called Bone Dry Solar. I did some homework and got feasibility studies and design quotes from two companies. Both companies indicated that I would need new shingles before solar panels could be installed. I used Bone Dry Roofing to install the new shingles because I have used them for several jobs in the past. About a month later I decided to get solar panels and I selected Bone Dry Solar because their affiliation with Bone Dry Roofing would ensure that the shingle warranty would be honored. I had Jay do a site assessment to give me confidence that they could install a system in my old house with no attached garage. After signing my quote in September, my system was installed 6 weeks later. The installation took 3 days—2 days to install 16 panels on the roof, and another day to finish the electrical work for a Tesla Powerwall 3 in the basement, and a gateway and disconnect outside. The installation crew was professional and friendly, and the project lead was very knowledgeable and would explain what was going on when I checked in to see how the installation was going. A few days after the installation, the engineer came out to examine the system and show me some of the features in the Tesla app. Based on my experience, I would recommend using Bone Dry Solar.
