Recent reviews are mixed, with several customers noting post-installation communication challenges and delays in system activation or service follow-up. Some mention smooth initial installation but difficulty getting responses for issues afterward or during panel removal/reinstallation for reroofing. A recurring theme is uncertainty about timelines and billing during activation. Ratings suggest experiences vary by project and timing.

I generally don't say anything if I don't have good things to say or without a solution. I have had Blue Raven, now known as Sun Power for over three years. Let me begin by saying the problem actually began with the installation. Against my suggestion, the team sent waited in the rain for a "lead" for quite awhile making my neighbors uncomfortable. Once the install was completed there was an inspection and we were assured all was well. Since the install I have had leaks in my bedroom, bathroom and continue to witness the damage. Communication regarding promises is overwhelming. The integrity of my roof is gone. This company may be great for some of you but for our household it's been a nightmare. Proceed with caution.

I have had color panels for about 2 to 3 years now and have called to have someone come out to fix issues and not one time have I got a call back or anybody show up. Great solid but service is bad after installed. Really bad

We are about five years into our solar panel experience. Initially, there was a lot of attention and communication, but after our installation of the system, there were significant delays in getting the system activated. Like many other folks, it took over a month to get it activated. It worked beautifully for several years and when we had to have it removed for roof replacement, we had numerous problems. We paid $3800 for panel removal and reinstallation and Blue Raven never scheduled the removal and replacement yet immediately took our money. Despite many phone calls we have yet to get our money back after 3 months. Every time we call we get excuses and promises that the ‘check is in the mail’. Do better Blue Raven!!

They get panels installed in a decent time but then you lose all support to get them activated. We were told they’d be active within 30 days if inspection. That happened aug 4,2025. I am typing this on 10/24/2025 and the panels are not active & we just got our third bill for the panels…. The third bill we were told that we shouldn’t get until AFTER the system is running. We’ve been promised a refund in 9/12 on the 1st payment, I have yet to receive. Now a second refund for the 29/12 payment is also not arrived. Don’t get solar!!

Installation was good, but they don't abide by there contract or word. Don't believe them when they say they will pay two years(no payments for two years). My two years is up next month. For the last year I've only got 4 months of reimbursement checks. That was one of the selling points of why I chose them to install my solar, they said I wouldn't have a payment for two years. Later I found out that I had payments, but they would just reimburse me every month. They did for the first year, then I started not receiving the monthly reimbursement checks. I've called several times, they keep saying there working on it. They are liars and there communication sucks. Don't trust them, especially if they try to sell you on the no payment for two years. They also failed to tell me that I needed a battery which cost extra for the lights not to go out. So I was thinking I was safe on the first outage after installation, nope. So I called them afterwards and that's when they told me about the batter. Another they neglected to say is that you don't receive the tax credit for two tax years. I am very disappointed with them and there lack of commitment to there word, lack of communication, and lack of transparency. They are not to be trusted.
