I cannot recommend The Solar Guys enough. Our project was massive and far from standard. We installed a 25kW solar array on my detached outbuilding, completed a 400-amp service upgrade, installed an EV charger port, and did extensive trenching.

With a project of this size, you are bound to run into hurdles. I worked directly with the owner and many members of the team, and their responsiveness was incredible.

Your crew was here today installing our system and they did a great job. Kyle S. was the lead installer and completed the electric panels and ran wiring very professionally while also answering all my ignornant questions. Brad B. and George C. efficiently installed the solar panels on the roof. They were more than happy to answer my questions as well and the array looks great with a clean, two-row layout. Once completed, Kyle reviewed with me how the system works, ran a test of the system (it worked!), and made sure all installation waste was cleaned up. Couldn't have asked for more service. This is the best solar company in the Kansas, Missouri, & Iowa area to help you with your solar project. I researched 5 different companies and spoke with each of them about my project. Solar Guys were very competitive with pricing, but their customer service and professionalism even included sending Jeff a professional drone operator to map out the roof and determine optimal panel placement for the sun and nearby trees. But it all started with Brian Buffington in sales who never tried to upsell me and answered all questions about the process without pressure. I’d recommend working with him for his character and transparent discussions. He never promised something the company couldn’t back up. In fact, he called the owner to make sure a specific part of the project was possible instead of telling me what I wanted to hear. Michelle, their program manager, sent me text updates and was very responsive to all my questions, even outside of business hours. The owner, Jesse, even called directly when there was a problem getting a specific panel and offered a solution that allowed the project to stay on track and increased the solar power output for the same price. He was personable and showed how much their company cared about customer service. Jereme came out and started the electrical work and answered all my questions and took time to explain things to me. These are the kind of people you would want as neighbors. Then the installers (Kyle & Brad) came and finished the panel installation the second day and cleaned up before they left. The power generated in just a few minutes of turning it on was more than my house was using with the A/C on a hot day. My neighbors have already commented how much they like the look of the solar panel installation. I never thought I would hear that about seeing solar panels. I whole-heartedly recommend Solar Guys.
