I had a call from a manager stating that she has a high-level meeting on Friday and she’ll contact me on Monday with some answers and guess what no call back it’s Tuesday.Still waiting for a call over a month now to schedule an appointment for service , this company should be shut down for lack of service.It has been over a month, and I still haven’t received a single phone call to even schedule an appointment to repair my solar system. I have used the chat system four separate times, and each time the chat conveniently disconnects after I’m told, “We’ll get back to you.” No one ever does.I’ve called repeatedly and left multiple voicemails—no calls back. The level of unresponsiveness is unbelievable. Once you sign the contract, customer service completely disappears.At this point, I’m being forced to consider legal action, including consulting an attorney to recover lost revenue due to my system being down for an extended period with no service or communication.I even tried escalating the issue by emailing the CFO, Arthur Souitzidis, hoping someone in leadership would respond. Once again—no response.There is no way to speak to a live person. You can email, leave voicemails, or get stuck in endless chat loops, but you cannot actually get help. This company is entirely non-responsive and should not be allowed to operate this way.I strongly recommend staying far away from this company.I am beyond frustrated.I have called four times and was told it would take 10–14 days just to schedule an appointment. I am now sitting at 3.5 weeks with not a single callback.I have opened four separate chat sessions. Each time, I asked for a supervisor or manager’s phone number, and every single time the chat mysteriously disconnected immediately after that request.This company is completely non-responsive and clearly does not care about customers once the contract is signed. Before signing up, they hounded me nonstop—calls, messages, knocking on my door. Once I became a customer, service completely disappeared.After leaving a negative review, they asked me to email them—which I have now done twice—and still no response.This is, without question, the worst customer service experience I have had with any company in decades.I strongly recommend NOT using Momentum Solar. Once they have your business, getting service is nearly impossible.I’ve had nothing but frustration with Momentum Solar. My system has had a service issue for over six months, so I finally called to get help. I was told it would take 10–14 days just to get a service appointment, and that someone would call me back.That timeframe has now passed, and no one has called. Reaching a live agent is extremely difficult, and when you do, there is no urgency or follow-through.It’s ironic how aggressive they were when trying to get me to sign up, but once you need support, you’re essentially ghosted.If you’re considering solar, I strongly recommend choosing another company with better customer service and accountability.I would highly discourage using Momentum Solar.I am currently experiencing a production issue where 16 solar panels are not reporting or working, and getting support has been extremely frustrating. There is no way to contact a live person directly. Instead, you are forced into an endless loop of online chats and automated responses.When I finally did reach someone, I was told their process takes 10–14 days before a service technician will even call, let alone come out to diagnose the issue. That is completely unacceptable for an active production problem.This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. There is no reason a company of this size cannot make or schedule a service call the same day for a system that is clearly not functioning properly.I highly recommend staying away from Momentum Solar if you value responsiveness, accountability, and reliable service.John Christner
Never go with this company. No customer service and they are dishonest.I was told by sales representative that Momentum solar will take care of the panels when we have to redo our roof. Now we have a leaking roof and they are asking us 9000 dollars to redo it. I reached out to the salesperson and he is like "I would have helped, but I no longer work there". When they sold the panel they never told us that salesperson will give us a voucher/Also I am paying almost 400 dollars every month for electricity including the payment for solar panels which is more than what I used to pay .THIS IS A SCAM. Now I am trapped. I
This sales person was not honest about hidden fees. They are charging us $8000 to dismantle and reinstall the panels. The sales rep did not give us a voucher nor did he ever discuss the free voucher to remove and replace. I wish I could give theses panels back. It’s not cost effective when it come to you having to repair your roof. This cost should be cheaper than $8000! Customer service is horrible, they only communicate with you via email, you can never talk to a person. I would never recommend this fraudulent company to anyone not even my worst enemy.
I contracted with Momentum Solar in 2021. The Momentum representative(Mathew) whom I signed the contract with told me that I will receive a 500$ sign on bonus within a month of panels installation. 6 months passed and I didn’t get any bonus. I called Mathew the representative and he told me he is no more with Momentum Solar and I have to call the customer service. When I called the customer service probably 4 or 5 times, they told me the bonus didn’t exist meaning that the representative had lied to me.Secondly 3-4 months after the installation, my garage roof started to leak pretty bad. I called Momentum every day 2-3 times for almost 4-5 weeks to send someone to fix my leak. They finally sent someone after 5 weeks and removed the panels and fixed the leak. The panels were sitting in my garage for 3 months and I was again calling them every day to come and reinstall them. The customer service was always saying that they are new in Texas didn’t have enough staffing.Again this year in 2024 my bedroom started to leak very bad and I sent Momentum Solar the videos and pictures of the leak and called them every day 3-4 times for 4 weeks to fix my roof and they were still saying they have very limited service in Austin and it takes time for them to come and even one of the customer service representatives told me I have to wait till the bedroom roof caves. Finally they came and they made excuses and said they are unable to fix the leak even though it was under the panels. I finally talked to a roofing company to come and inspect my roof and and the inspector after inspection of my roof told me that most damage was caused by the panels installer and they did a pretty bad job. and now I have to replace my roof. they told me that I have to replace my roof. When I called Momentum Solar to remove the panels so that the roofing company can replace my roof, they demanded that I should pay them 5570$ in order to remove and reinstall the panels.To be honest, Momentum Solar is not worth of even one star. Please avoid using their services and I am going to report them to the licensing department and want to cancel my contract with them. I am not going to pay them if they have no services to deliver for me.
We’ve had our solar panel system for a little over 3 months now and we’re very happy with the product and company. James Garbo was our salesman and he was crystal clear on the technology, process and pricing. The crew who did the installation was incredibly polite and informative on the process, how long it’d take to install and how it all worked. They also kept their work area and our attic clean. Momentum took care of all the HOA and city documentation and will keep you in the loop on approvals. The Momentum app you use to monitor your solar energy production is easy to use. If you’re serious about getting a solar panel system give these guys a call, you won’t regret it.
